I guess I cannot get past the muddy graphics. Everything is so small and dark. It does not challenge as much as annoy. I got through most of the free demo and realized I would rather let a free game coupon expire than play this.
I don't recommend this game.
Novelist Edward Grand has found evidence of a terrible tragedy in the city of Rosemount and sets off to investigate!

Though it was a tad too predictable, I found this game enjoyable. The Snow Queens appearances seemed to detract from the experience rather than add. It was a short game and the bonus chapter was not much of an addition.
Overall, it was a good game.
I recommend this game!
A mysterious man in red summons you, sending you to a flying ship where a little girl needs your help!

It is a personal frustration, but small muddy artwork ruins a game for me. I am sure the storyboards are beautiful but they do not translate to my 27" screen. How do they fair on a tablet? I was bored and uninspired by the story and tried multiple times to play to no avail. I will not even get it for a free game coupon.
I don't recommend this game.
An organ grinder seeks revenge, marking his victims with cards. Can you stop him before he destroys the entire city?

From the moment it began I was captivated. The voiceovers were superb. I especially liked The Tune of Revenge with Poe's Once Upon a midnight Dreary. I listened to that multiple times and will listen to it again. I wish the voiceover was included with the music in the bonus section.
I did have occasional glitches with the mac version crashing during cut scenes but I was not deterred.

I enjoyed the game though it was too easy to be called challenging. It was a great diversion.
Sometimes, I think I have been playing too long and am a bit jaded. I want every game to have the thrill of Dire Grove or 13 Skulls or MYST for that matter. But the fact is that I am past so many of what were once surprises and am able to anticipate the game moves ahead if it follows a logical sequence.
I recommend this game!

I must be getting jaded. The quality of the collectors editions from BF for Mac seem to have tanked. Have I just seen it all before? Are the developers all on vacation?
I don't recommend this game.
Only Amy, the 13th zodiac sign, can free the zodiac children's souls from the Dark Lord.

The colors were beautiful. The game itself was just o.k. I am glad I got it on a two for one sale. It was a bit too easy and the drawings were sometimes too small. The storyboards must have been amazing but it just did not translate that well.
