The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
I have been hooked on the MCF series. MCF is above all other games. Shadow Lake was interesting, but not much of a challenge. I enjoyed the game, but it seemed very short. I think using live action adds much to the story line. I wish Big Fish had not gotten away from the Ravenhurst. I think it could have been expanded.
In the last 4 weeks I have purchased over 12 games. This one, in my opinion is the best by far. The story is easy to follow, the graphics are awesome. The music is not overbearing. As you go through this game the rain gives it a feeling of reality. The scenes look so real, you would swear this town really exsists. I love this game, and will play it over and over.
A very interesting game. Somewhat different HO scenes. As you find an oject, the words disappear, and go to the found object. The strategy guide is easy access if needed. There are 35 bonus morphing obects hidden throughtout. The graphics are crisp and clear, a wide screen, a plus. The only thing I had problems with, were the interactions needed to be taken between two items in the HO areas. Most of the time, it would take multiple attemps to get the interaction to take. I will be purchasing this game to finish.
I played the Demo, then bought the game to finish. This games is easy, and relaxing. I hate to rush through my games. I enjoy looking at the scenes, and the studying puzzles, This game has wide screen, a plus for me. The music is not overpowering. The storyline is pretty straight foreward and easy to follow. If a hint is needed, they are precise and easy to follow. Big Fish Games Rule. My favorite is still Ravenhurst, and Return to Ravenhurst. Keep up the great work, and I will keep playing. :~)
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I have all the MCF games, and look foreward to more. Everything about "Escape" was good, however, I did'nt care for the morphing. I think the morphing made the game boring. Maybe if I could play on a small screen, it would be more enjoyable, as I have a 23" wide screen.
