I have played the first Imperial Island for hours and hours. I enjoyed watching the fantastical buildings as much as playing the game. When I opened my email yesterday I let out a cheer when I saw Imperial Island 2 had come out. I eagerly downloaded it and began to play. The first thing that turned me off was the voice over at the beginning....terrible! Next was the whale which looked as if it were dying that appeared every time the map opened. The graphics were good but were not the quality of the first game. Then I got into the game play which has no purpose except to move a little ship along on the map. I might use a coupon or offer to buy this game but it's doubtful. Good Match 3 games are few and far between these days and this game does not fall in that category. A real shame as the original game was a cut above most. One of my favorites.
Sorry, I can't with good conscious recommend this game but play the trial and decide for yourself. To each his own.

I play a lot of Match 3, this one is different. Not only is every board different but there are jigsaw puzzles and other things to break the game play. This is a unique game...give it a try.
I recommend this game!
Defeat a great evil threatening the Vikings and help the king restore his domain to its former glory.

I have the first Northern Tale and, I must say, this one is even better! The graphics are fabulous and the challenge is just enough to keep you interested. I played the trial in the "multi click" mode. The three different play modes lets you play according to what mood you're in. A real keeper, this one!
I recommend this game!

I have been waiting for another TM game for quite some time. I played the one hour trial and was sorry it ended. It is much the same as most other TM games but I enjoyed the new theme and characters. I like the fact that there are two modes of play. Even though I have and play many TM games, sometimes I want a "relaxed" mode that I can just sit back, play and enjoy when I don't feel like something hectic. I will definitely add this one to my collection.
I recommend this game!

I have Jewel Legends: Tree of Life and this one is just as good or better. The graphics are breathtakingly beautiful and the gameplay is very good. The game becomes more difficult as you reach higher levels. If you like a good match 3 with plenty of eye candy, this one is for you. Try it, you might just love it.
I recommend this game!
The exciting adventures of the young Ingolf await you in this magical Time Management game.

TM/Strategy games are few and far between these days. I played the trial of this game and then bought it! The only reason I didn't give it a five star is that I either have to listen to the constant chatter or turn the sound off. I like the music but I found the chatter to be annoying after awhile. Other than that I love this game and will have hours of game time.
I recommend this game!

I've been waiting quite awhile for another Match 3 game. This one has beautiful graphics, nice music, immediate rewards, three types of play and with or without the clock...perfect!

It's fun building the little village and the play becomes more challenging as the game goes on. For those of you who like a Match 3 to match your mood and one that isn't going to make you crazy, this is a must.

I didn't find this game too bad. I mean, it wasn't a five star but neither was it terrible. I had no problems seeing the squares as some others did. I found the game to move quickly and it was nice that there were 3 different modes of play. I found the music & effects to be neither good or bad, just indifferent. The power ups were cute but not terribly effective.
I am going to purchase the game because I have been so starved for something new in the Match 3 genre and this is as good as it has been for quite awhile. Since I have many games in this genre that are way more challenging, this will be a good one when I just want to play a game and not have to think too much. I recommend this game to anyone who just wants a game to lay back to. If you're looking for a challenge for your gray matter...look else where.
Btw, this would have been way more fun if you had been able to actually set up a safari land with your winnings...don't you think?

I was a little disappointed with this game. Since it is fantasy based I was looking forward to trying it, but didn't even finish the trial.
I thought the game play was challenging but boring. It was pretty much building & demolishing & putting out fires by the dragon. The dragon just irritated me because just as I was about to finish the level he would come along and set my most expensive house on fire. It was frustrating because there was no way to kill him or protect against him, which would have made it more interesting.
I play a lot of TM games and it is one of my favorite genres but this one will be a pass.
By the way, the fairies don't look like fairies to me, they're butterflies. Also, where are the inhabitants of all these dens, houses & manors that are built. This would have added a little flavor to the game.
Sorry Build A-Lot fans.
I don't recommend this game.

Playrix did an excellent job with the sequel to Gardenscapes. I found this game to be much more enjoyable. There is more interaction with Austin and he is hilarious! The HO scenes are much better in that the rooms aren't as cluttered and the items can be seen much clearer. I have both games and enjoy Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover much, much more. Thanks, Playrix. Keep up the good work!
