Dont usually write reviews, and was really unsure about buying this game....BUT enjoyed it staight away !
Some good twists and turns and I did get in a bit of a pickle at times ( and use the walkthrough) but not so much that it done my head in !
Beautiful scenery, nice background music.....Shame about the ending but I was expecting it to end abruptly, so every extra chapter was a bonus.
Just bought the next one.

I read all of the reviews , and they really choose the games for me so I was expecting a bit of a scare, great grapics, good storyline etc, etc.
Ive never been so disappointed in a game in 7 years. Ive been trying to get into it for 2 weeks and Im sooooo BORED.
I dont know why its not grabbing me, its just not.
Yes, the grapics are good. The HOGs are ok, the mini-games aren't bad.....but thats about it.
Ive given up and bought the latest Puppetshow. After 5 minutes, I barely gave this another thought.
The only game Ive ever bought and given up on.

Ive just played this game for an hour, and Im a little bit hooked :-O !!!
The bad reviews, and then Tinkerbells counter review got me intrigued...it was 2 quid, and Ive had worse ready meals for 2 quid that lasted 5 minutes so I thought 'why not?'

Im glad I did.
Yes the graphics are a bit ropey,its obviously not a new game and its never gonna be a MCF, but it reminds me of the games I used to play when I first started....and theres no running around or stress,which is nice sometimes.
The music is unobtrusive, and quite relaxing tbh...and Ive had a BAAAD day.

I dont know why some of the 'experts' say there are no instructions....Uummmmm ? What for exactly ? The mini games are pretty logical, and Im finding myself looking forward to the hidden object games with the dodgy spellings #giving me a chuckle#...I now now what a whirlygig is..WOOHOO. !..and I found the whatsit berries straight away, as they, wait for it .....LOOKED LIKE BERRIES !!!! :-D
AS a wind down before bed, or a lazy play,I really like it....wouldnt wanna pay full price but Ive been bored by bigger games with 4+ stars, Im also no expert....
Just the challenge of working out some of the things to find is entertainment in itself.....lol ,.and really not a struggle.
The hint stars are a bit quick, but Ive had no problems with clicking on objects more than once.
If its on offer, give it a chance.

Been getting a bit bored with the games Ive played this month ( about 8 )...read the reviews and thought I would give this a go and LOVED it !
Fresh new concepts, the hidden games in the HOS were great. Was actually smiling playing it !
The graphics are fresh and clear, nice bright scenes.
The mini games didnt fuddle my brain. (only skipped one)
Im just sad it wasnt as long as I wanted it to be and the ending was a bit abrupt.
And I thought the Ravenhearsts were a hard act to follow.........!?!
