At first glance, Landgrabbers seems to be a pretty casual time management game, but it's more like a strategy game that hinges on time management. The strategic themes that are required to win at this game are so much more complex than just "take all their land." You've got to really keep moving and never rest on the oars, because the AI is constantly attacking everywhere all the time. You've got to watch where you sent the troops from and how many will be left in the building afterwards. The power-ups really help quite a bit if you remember to use them consistently. On the bright side, if there's two or more enemies, they usually just attack each other and leave you alone for a bit. In conclusion, Landgrabbers is not remotely "casual" but a good blend of challenge and fun.
I recommend this game!

This is by far one of the coolest, spookiest, most "Potter-esque" match 3 ever! For that alone it gets 5 stars. The autumnal back drops will delight your inner trick-or-treater. Gameplay is interesting with some levels containing multiple boards and unique power-ups. With your earnings you can add pieces to the backgrounds and even use them as wallpapers. The pieces you match are also pretty cool, like the pumpkins. Mark my words, I'll be playing this a lot in October, hohohoahoahahahaaa!
I recommend this game!

Haunted Domains is quite a fun game that's a little easier than Dead Hungry Diner. I like the different characters that check in to the hotel and their different likes and tastes, for instance, the Vampires drink wine and read books. Also the upgrades you can get make the workload much more efficient, however many more guests you get. I can't wait to progress further into the game and see what all features get unlocked.
I recommend this game!

I liked Dead Hungry diner just for the theme. All sorts of monsters and ghouls visiting a diner to eat brain-shaped fruit. It's original enough to intrigue the average player. Gameplay is simple enough, but not necessarily easy once you progress a few levels. When the werewolves and vampires come in things get very hectic, and I still can't figure out how you "no lose money" once Frankie has to break up a fight. Anyway, I'll really be putting time into this game 'round about Halloween!
I recommend this game!

Big Kahuna 2: Chain Reaction is quite possibly the best match 3 ever made, ever! The dynamite, bombs and nukes justify this entire game and make it a classic to return to time after time! In some ways the bombs make it far too easy, with the right explosion you can clear a level in seconds and move right along in story mode. One level called Nuke Factory is fun to play just to see if you can get the Tiki height up to 400 or more. This will be one game I play for years to come!

Big Kahuna Reef
This matching puzzle is leagues away from ordinary. Swimmingly good times await you in the reef.

Big Kahuna 1 is as good as your average Match 3 with interesting backdrops and easy gameplay. The only negative is that: if you're used to playing Big Kahuna 2, the lack of any sort of bomb in Big Kahuna 1 will drive you insane. You'll make a match of 5 or a 3x3 and expect a bomb, but alas nothing to do but make matches. In the end though, it's good for one of these older Match 3s.

I mostly only play blackjack on Big Fish Casino and it's always fun, although requiring skill and good judgement to accrue any good amount of chips. The slots have excellent payouts and cool themes, like Dog Town. This is always a good game to fall back on when I can't find friends to play Blackjack in real life.
I recommend this game!

My first thought is when Gollum says in the Two Towers, "they go around for miles and miles." This is what you do in this game. How on Earth did anyone ever finish this game?!?!
We owned it back in the day and played for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and never even got the plane/boat running, much less the egg down that mine-cart track. We tried punching in every three-digit code we could find into everywhere with a password, even using trial-and-error with the lighthouse bulb at the top. We read every page of every book in the adventurer's study. We rode the elevator up and down just hoping it would randomly stop at that halfway point. All we ever accomplished was finding where the egg was, but it remained firmly ensconced on that mine-cart. My Dad and I literally played this for 200+ hours back then, and got nowhere.
On the positive side, the mysterious setting and creepy hallways were pretty cool. Maybe that's what kept us playing. The three mildly interesting cutscenes (As far as I can remember; the postman, the dying adventurer, and the elevator) are kinda the apex of the story, to be honest.
However, if you enjoy walking around, reading journals, and punching in unknown codes, then I highly recommend this game!

I have never seen such a fun game like Mystic Inn! I'm sure I'll be playing this one for years to come. The setting and story are both wonderfully good and the gameplay is pretty simple. No fussy menus or extensive setup, just a purely fun game! In fact, there's almost no menu; the only options are play, change character, options, and exit. Not even a button to access your high scores, which is the only drawback. You have to wait for a credits screen to pop-up after being idle in the menu a while to see your high scores. The levels do get consistently more challenging. Just when you think the previous level was hectic enough, they add a few more tables or longer tables and the next level is crazier than ever! Then along comes an extra feature to make your workload heavier. Nonetheless, this doesn't make the game too hard to be fun. I played through the demo and immediately bought the game afterwards. I'm about halfway through completion and cannot wait to see how far it goes!
I recommend this game!

This is simply the only time management game so far that I've played time after time! Sure the story is extremely limited and there's basically nowhere to expand after the first run, but I've found this game to be quite fun when aiming for high scores or records. For instance, the Fort level you can play infinitely, for days at a time if you want and rack-up an absurdly high score to brag about. And when viewing the high scores from the menu, it shows your entire accumulated score while playing the entire game! So in conclusion; the gameplay is limited, but interesting. The setting/story is intriguing, but again limited. The replay value however, is extremely high! I've playing this game regularly for five years!
I recommend this game!
