I love these types of 'Paint by number' games as well as the Pixel Art games. They are relaxing and a colourful break from my usual diet of HO games. Please, please, please continue to bring out these games.
After the first stage the subjects are: Scenery (24), Animal (11), Abstracts (9), Flowers/plants/fruit (10) and happily for me only one food which always looks similar to the amorphous lumps of moulds growing in petri dishes in the laboratory. I have also loved the little scenes from history with a male figure dressed in the time period of the background.
If this type of game is not to your liking - please don't waste your time in playing them and negatively reporting them, just go back to your first-person shooters.
I enjoyed this game more than the previous as the cursor control had been improved. My favourite paint by numbers is the "Modern Art" series with the textured paint and you can choose to paint where you want to. I had no difficulties finishing the first section in the demo time (I finished in 17 minutes) and so I was able to view the remainder of the pictures. Then I could decide to redo those later (or my 5 year old could) at my leisure. But I would love to be able to turn off the helpful messages.
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
I have only played the first 30 minutes, but I love it already - great story-line, graphics and well-executed game. The puzzles are not so hard, and the HOS are different to the usual offerings. Four levels of difficulty, useful map and hint system. Achievements and collectables abound. Great fun and good follow-on to the 'Smithsonian'. Another Eipix epic.
Wish I had tried the trial version before I bought this one. I thought after playing Treasure Seekers - The Time Has Come - that it might be a reasonably good game to buy - but no. Perhaps good for 6 year olds. Lame dialogue - let's tidy up my room - let's find a flashlight! Deleted games after 15 minutes of play.
As with the previous Midnight Mysteries, this one ticks all the boxes - enjoyable and engaging. It is a little dark but the HOG items were easy to spot and interest has been added in describing the item like an 'old fashioned airconditioner' which was a fan. I also like collecting the clovers and ravens along the way. The puzzles were not too difficult and not the usual ones. Perhaps there are too many ghosts to talk to, but I like the interaction and plot enhancement.
