I loved all the gardenscapes games. This one looked a little like those and I was excited to play it. However, the quality isn't the same. My main problem with the game was in the sound. I almost always turn off the music in my games. The repitition gets on my nerves. But in this game, you can't turn the music off without turning all the sounds off. It's very boring to play a game with no sounds at all.
I don't recommend this game.

I rated it 3 because it was ok. It's certainly worth playing, but I'm glad I got it on sale.
The graphics are great, the HOS are fairly easy, the puzzles were a mix. Some required some thought others were easy.
A few things kept this from being a great game:
Number 1 is that there is no sound. No atmosphere noises, no voices, just noises when you click. I always turn off the music because it drives me crazy, so I can't speak to that.
There is no map and a LOT of places to remember. If you find a place where you need an object, it will almost always be 8 clicks and turns away. I just hate that.
Then storyline was week and the ending was very anticlimatic and abrupt. I always feel cheated when they do that.
So, with all that, even though it has pretty graphics and it was nice and long, I can't see this as anything more than an average game.

For a new game, this was very amateur. The story and dialogue sounded like it was written by a 12 year old. The graphics were colorful, but definitely not up to the standards being set these days by the other developers.
The minigames, for the most part, were just too simple.
I gave this a 3 because it would be worth playing for younger or beginning players as a DD. But it's definitely not worth full price.

I'm rating the game for what it is. It's just what the name implies, 100% Hidden object. It's not an adventure game. There's no story line or puzzles. But that's what my mother likes.
If you just want to do hidden object scenes, you'll like this one. There are tons of scenes and each scene can be worked in 2 different modes. You choose between a word list or a picture list.
Each scene has 3 stars to be earned:
EXPERT- finish the scene in a certain amount of time and earn the star. If you don't, you just continue to play the scene untimed.
BONUS: You'll suddenly be asked to find a specific item quickly. Find it and get the star. Or just continue playing.
FRENZY: Find several items in succession to activate the frenzy star and earn extra coins.
The coins are used to buy hints and power ups. (you'll earn plenty)
In addition, there are also 64 achievement badges to be earned.
You can play all the games in one mode and then go back and do the other. Mom will probably play thru them all and then go back and worry about the stars,
All that gives the game a lot of replay value, which is something I look for in a game like this.
I recommend this game!

GEEZ!! I expect time limits, after all, it is a time management game, and I like a challenge, but C'MON!!
This game will last a long time. 60+ levels and I promise you, you'll play each level 3-300 times.
I've had the game for a few months and I'm about half way done. I have to walk away for a few days when I start yelling things at my computer that make my husband blush and my poor dog hide under the bed.

Nice and long

I liked the game. It was really long.
I'm giving only 4 stars because it's a collector's edition and it offers nothing for me to make it worth the extra cost. The extras are just that you can go back and replay the HO scenes or the mini games.
The standard edition would be the way to go with this one, IMO.
I also didn't like that the items and action didn't really always go logically together. When I find an object, I should be able to think "hey, I can use this for that certain thing I found way back in the town.."
I don't want to back track and then just try everything I have in my inventory because nothing really makes sense. (like a chimney brush to fish something out of a well or a can opener to undo a nut and bolt)
And...I was quite disappointed in the ending.
But all things considered, it's a good game with great graphics and it's a nice long length.
I recommend this game!

I wasn't sure about it at first. I was wanting a solitaire game, not mahjong. But it's just so relaxing and beautiful that it won me over. It'll be the perfect thing when you just want to de-stress, relax and not have to use your brain :-)
If you leave and come back, you'll have to restart the hand you're playing, but it'll save where you are along your 'journey'. I don't know what went wrong for the other poster, but you do have the bonus games in the purchased version.
I recommend this game!

They had a chance to put a new twist/element to a match 3 game, but they dropped the ball (or marble) big time.
There are no sound effects. I don't know if I'm alone here, but cool sounds are kinda what does it for me.
If I have two match3 games that are similar, I'll choose the one with the coolest sounds every time.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has several different types of match three puzzles. The graphics and sound effects are great and it'll take a LONG time to finish them all.
Once you do, you can get add on packs.
You definitely get your money's worth on this one.

I really enjoyed the game. It's definitely different. The hidden object scenes don't have a list of things to find, instead, you have to solve word puzzles to find the objects.
You have to have patience and watch the cut scenes. The story is worth it and there are things in the story that you'll need to know.
The down side is that some of the puzzles (at least one) are too hard. There's no way to solve them without looking up a hint to at least get started.
And the other is...WHY did they give Jess a lisp?? It's gone in the second one and that actor's voice has been in other games without a lisp. It's very annoying.
I recommend this game!
