I actually like the game. I don't expect a challenge. What I look for is something to relax with while either eating lunch or before bedtime. No frustration; just an alternative to reading or TV.
after playing scenes over and over, there is no explanation of how to unlock the next scenes. It goes only so far, then no progression. why?

Had not played this game in a long time. Now I know why. Terrible puzzles with little explanation of what they want you to do. Every time you download an object there is no natural sequence where to go to next. It's back and forth thru screen after screen to get one little object over and over. Til your finger is going to drop off. Am going to uninstall this game. Very poorly planned.
The hidden object part was fine. I am ok without a storyline as I like hidden object to relax. But, the puzzles and minigames were monotonous and repetitive. Glad it was downloaded as a trial and I did not purchase it. My favorite games are the Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger series. I have them all.
I don't recommend this game.

Abandoned: Chestnut Lodge Asylum
Face your fears and unravel the mystery of the abandoned asylum!
I finally finished it. Had to keep walking away from the game because it was so frustrating. No natural progression. Had to use the walkthrough constantly. So much back and forth. It was dark and hard to see the graphics. My hand got so tired clicking back and forth, probably get carpal tunnel with all the clicking. Stupid ending. Will probably never play it again.
I don't recommend this game.

The whole premise of the plot escapes me. I think I have had it with these dark themes. And the ending just left me sitting wondering, "what".
I don't recommend this game.

I really hate puzzles. I just found the whole game tedious but persevered to the end.
Terrible story line. Game made no sense, I hate most puzzles and these added nothing to the game. I just wanted the game to be over, so kept hitting the hint button to get to the end quickly. Even the bonus game was macabre.
I don't recommend this game.

thought it would be like Mansion Makeover, but just a lot of cleaning and silly minigames. Foul language. Abrupt ending. So disappointed. Will probably never play it again. Had high hopes that it would be cute and fun. NOT.
