This game has everything. Beautiful artistry, wonderful mood music, different levels of play, and lots of puzzle variations. I played the middle level, so that is what I'm referring to in this review. The HO's are very easy, due to the clarity of the areas. The puzzles vary from easy to "skip." There is a lot of backpedaling in this game, so a map would have been a great help, but not really too hard without it. I also love a game where I can blow something up! The ending suggests a sequel, so I hope it comes soon because I will buy it in a heartbeat! Don't miss this one.

Mystery of Mortlake Mansion
Explore the dark halls of Mortlake Mansion and discover its secrets! Break the evil spells and become the owner of the mansion!
I bought this game for 2.99 and wasn't expecting much. When the game started and I saw the graphics, I wasn't impressed...but wow! I had so much fun playing this game. Lot's of puzzles and layers to this game. I loved going back and forth between the real world and the shadowy world. The puzzles and HO's are pretty simple, but the storyline more than makes up for that. It is well worth your time.

Shattered Minds: Masquerade
Stop the villainous Visage from ruining Mardi Gras in Shattered Minds: Masquerade, an incredible Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!
I purchased this game based on the wonderful reviews here, but these reviews must be for the CE edition. There was only one mode of play..no choice. There were no morphing objects in my version at all. It was a very short game and the puzzles were not difficult at all. The story was predictable and when you needed an object to complete a task, you didn't need to look very far for it. The ending was puzzling..either it will be continued, or the developers got as bored with it as I did, and just ended it. If you are new to HOGs you will like this game. Anyone else...there are much better games out there to spend your money on.

Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast
Relive the fantasy of Beauty & the Beast in this never before told story of magic and love!
This game was top notch all the way through. Visually stunning and the musical ambiance was perfect. I loved that it had the wide screen and there were different modes with various levels of difficulty. I played the most difficult and had to keep a dictionary handy as I didn't know some of the items in the HO list! I think on the easier levels you can scroll over the item name and get a silhouette of the object. I really was challenged in a good way and the length of the game was just right.

Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Journey across Italy as best-selling novelist Dana Knightstone in Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel!
I was really disappointed in this game. While the graphics were adequate, the music would put me to sleep. Music plays a huge part in my enjoyment of any game. Nothing new to see here, no excitement. I plodded through it and was glad to see it end, even though you knew what would happen from the beginning. Romance novel enthusiasts might enjoy this game.

Gravely Silent: House of Deadlock
Save your sister from the grave! After receiving a troubling phone call from your brother-in-law, you’re off on an adventure!
At first I hesitated to purchase this game because I thought it was just another dark, graveyard game. But I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It had multiple story lines that kept me interested and even though it was a long game, I did not get that feeling that I just wanted it to finish. In fact, I wanted it to go on. The game had just the right ratio of hogs and puzzles, and the artistry and music set just the right tone. I played the more challenging mode, and it was just the right amount of hints. Loved this game.

Phantasmat
After crashing your car in the middle of nowhere, you stumble upon a mysterious town with a shady background. Solve a dark mystery!
I loved the artwork and the music. The game had a great storyline and even though I played the middle mode, I didn't find it too difficult. However, you really must like lots of hogs or match 3 games, because it is loaded. Too many, in fact, and I found that it slowed the pace of the story and game. There were not many scenes in this game and you had to keep going back and forth between them. It is not one of my favorites, but I was not disappointed. It is a great game for gamers new to this genre, as there are many types of hints and I liked that you can personalize the level that you want.

Macabre Mysteries: Curse of the Nightingale
Explore the Nightingale Theater, which was ravaged by a devastating fire 40 years ago, and uncover a dark mystery!
I love all the games from Blue Tea Games, and this is no exception. This one really made me think (don't like to use the walkthroughs) so I was truly challenged to figure out what came next in a lot of the scenes. The maps and book don't help very much. You have to do a lot of backtracking and remembering where things are. The artistry is something special and very detailed. The hidden object games are fairly easy, especially if you've been to that area before. But the game was a pleasant diversion on a rainy day!

Urban Legends: The Maze
During the finale of The Maze, the transmission is mysteriously stopped. Now it's up to you to find the missing contestants!
This is one of the top games I've played this year. I can't wait for the sequel. There were so many puzzles that I haven't seen before and the HOs were challenging, but not impossible. I especially liked the seamless transitions between the scenes and the map that allowed you to jump to locations instead of backtracking. There were surprises at every turn. This is one of the longer games due to all the puzzles and since I got it at the $2.99 sale I was pleasantly entertained. Thanks Big Fish and more Elephant Games please!

Dominic Crane 2: Dark Mystery Revealed
Take an ominous trip with Dominic and help him piece together a mystery from his dreams in Dominic Crane 2: Dark Mystery Revealed!
This is the first time that I bought a game this bad from Big Fish. I've played a few stinkers, but this one was really terrible. The hidden objects blended into the scenery making it extremely hard to pick out and the transitions were totally old school. There were no instructions for the games, so I had to skip some simply because I didn't know what I was supposed to do. No fun at all.
