The storyline is good. The dialogues are sometimes funny. I played in Adventure mode (no sparkles). The graphics are somewhat "old stylish". This game is not really a HOG, more puzzle. The objects are scattered in the location. Some objects need to interact to use them. There are 5 chapters. The puzzles are mostly easy, some challenging. There is no journal. The hint system (in adventure mode) is useless, making it more challenging. It took me 2 hours to finish. Could have been longer.
Because of the storyline (time travel, parodoxes), I thought this could be an interesting game. I played in advanced mode. The graphics are ok, the music also. The objects in the HOS are easy to find. The puzzles are sometimes easy, sometimes challenging. I thought "ok, well, nevermind, the story is interesting", but I finished in 1 1/2 hours! That's definitely too short. So not worth the money.
I liked the storyline. It's quite a dark game. - There is only one game mode. - The sound is good, the graphics clear. The objects in the HOS are easy to find. - Some puzzles are really challenging and a change from what you usually get. - The journal is helpful, since it can give you some clues. - There is no map, but when a chapter is finished you won't go back. So there are not that many locations pro chapter. It took me a little more than 3 hours to finish, and it's worth the money!
This is a refreshing love story. - The graphics are very clear. The HOS also. - The puzzles are very easy. - There are 7 chapters. - There is no map, but you don't need one. It took me about 3 hours to finish. The game is really easy and I would recommend it for beginners.
This is the sequel to "Haunted Halls: Green Hill Sanitarium". You have to save children and your boyfriend. It's easier and shorter (2 1/2 hours) than the first one. But the graphics are just as great! Everything is just crisp, the objects are easy to find. The puzzles are quite easy, but still interesting to solve. There is still no map, but you won't get lost, since there are only a few locations per chapter. I just loved it, as a love all of the ERS games!
What a game! You have to free your boyfriend and some patients from a creepy sanitorium. There is only one game mode. - The storyline is really interesting. The sounds make the atmosphere freakier! - The graphics are clear. The objects from the HOS are easy to find. - The puzzles are sometimes quite challenging. - There is no map, and a lot of going back and forth. Each new room is stranger than the one before! I needed 3 1/2 hours to finish, but it seemed longer to me, since there is so much to do. This is one of the best "asylum game" I've played!
I found this game much better than the first one: "Reincarnations: the Awakening". I played in challenge mode. - The storyline is interesting. You have to escape from various places. - The graphics are a bit blurry but the objects in the HOS are still easy to find. - The puzzles are sometimes challenging. - There is no journal, just a task list. - In the challenge mode, you have only hints in the HOS. The help button is activated after some time in the puzzles, making it quite interesting. - There is no map and, in the first chapter, a lot of going back and forth. It took me 2 1/2 hours to finish. All in all, a good and intriguing game.
The only thing I liked in this game, was the theme (reincarnation). Otherwise: - there is nothing to think about. Either you have sparkles everywhere, or you are told what to do. - the graphics are blurry, the HOS quite dark. - the puzzles are really easy. - there is no challenge, no surprise. It took me 1 1/2 hours... That's definitely too short - on the other side, since the game is so boring, the shorter, the better - sorry.
I played in expert mode. - The storyline is interesting. - The sound is good; the graphics clear. - In the HOS, the objects are easy to find. - The puzzles are easy. - There is no map and a lot of walking back and forth. It took me 2 1/2 hours to finish. I enjoyed every single minute!
I liked this game. I played in advanced mode. The storyline is interesting - reunite a family. The graphics are very crisp. The HOS are clear. The puzzles are easy. The journal is helpful. There is no map, but not so much walking back and forth, so no problem. The hint system is good. It took me a little more than 2 hours to finish; could have been longer. Nevertheless, I had a good, relaxing time playing.
