One of the BEST Time Management/Strategy games ever and a terrific sequel to Season One. It is difficult! You really have to plan in this one. I highly recommend this game.

I am so glad I played the demo instead of going by the reviews. It is a graphically pleasing game and challenging. I find myself having to try the levels several times to discover the winning path to 3 stars. It's right up there with some of my better TM games. The "sciences" help you do better - similar to Rescue Team rewards - and goals. Please play the complete demo before writing this one off. I can see me playing this over and over.

There are a lot of reviews that are negative. No it isn't the best time management game out there and it is a collectors edition (because of the many levels) but it is a decent game. It reminds me of several others in style and play so it isn't terribly unique. Sometimes you just want a time management game that doesn't discourage you from the beginning. There is a series of games that make you miserable although the games are nicely done they overdo the challenge aspect and it's pointless to try for 3 stars. If you get a gift code or bogo, I suggest trying this game out. It's simply a nice time management game.
For those of us who loved (and love) the Incredible Dracula series of games, comes another from New Bridge Games. I waited a long time for this one, having played the trial demo almost a year ago. I love it. But it isn't easy to get those 3 stars and requires planning and multiple attempts. It's not for novice TM players but Incredible Drac was hard too. The graphics are awesome (I love this style). Thank you BFG for finally making it available and without a Collectors Edition tease. I look forward to Royal Life 2.

I have played the previous versions of this game. This one is difficult. VERY difficult. The challenge is definitely there for more experienced time management players. I found myself unable to get to 3 stars/award level on most of the levels. I know it's what die-hard TM players have been craving as most lately have been too easy. BUT the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the fact that the items on the road (graphics fail) are slightly off which distracts and is annoying. As soon as you reorient your eyeballs to this flaw, you can do well on the level. Takes getting use to. I hope there is an update where this issue is corrected. Otherwise, a winner. Whew. Make sure you're caffeinated and/or awake before this challenging TM.

Having purchased the Hero of the Kingdom I and II years ago I was anxiously awaiting the newest Hero of the Kingdom installment. I couldn't wait. Lonely Troops did a great job with this one and they made sure I knew it was coming out in March on BFG. It has been a long time coming. It is challenging and a long play strategy game - search for items, discover hidden places and a wonderful trip for a leisurely snowy (or rainy) weekend. I highly recommend it.

Disclaimer: I only played the demo. Where have I seen this style and type of game before? Rose Riddle & Brownies. It's like a cross between both games - visually like Rose Riddle (which I loved) and Brownie's for concept and difficulty. A challenging game and I really loved the characters, tiny objects to collect and the fact that I may never get 3 stars. It is not for the "relaxed gamer" as some have pointed out. I agree. I plan to purchase. Just waiting for a sale!

The best thing about this game is the choice to play normal, casual or like your great-grandma. 50 levels and no mini games or collectibles as in the other games of the series. I am not sure why this game is not as popular as I would have thought. I liked it. It's not the same as the last one but I wasn't a fan of the last one anyway. What is nice is that it is not offered as a Collectors Edition because frankly that in itself is a turn-off. I do miss the snarky voice overs but I can live without it. Good buy for Dracula fans who have an extra coin credit or freebie coming up. I was not disappointed.
This was a surprise. An awesome time management game after a few duds. The characters and artwork are adorable. (I suspect that the same artist who did Madam Fate's Carnival did the characters). The game is challenging for those who have had some experience with TM games but 3 badges are possible and this may turn off some "expert" gamers who want to break their wrists when trying to get the "impossible 3 stars". There are 3 types of mini games - a whack-a-mole type, driving/flying, and memory card bonus games. I really, really like this game. In fact, I am planning on buying the earlier one as soon as I am finished. Bravo.

If you remember the original MCF games then this is very similar to the Huntsville and Ravenhearst games. If you are looking for storyline, adventure type gaming or CGI/3D then you will be disappointed. This was designed to appeal to those who loved the original games without the live camera dialogue or shifting from room to room in search of clues. I enjoyed it and feel the reviews are unfair. I would wait it out for the SE version though because the additional chapter is not all that long and I'm not big on wallpapers. Morphing Objects are difficult to spot but the objects in the HOGs are not. Puzzles are either extremely difficult or easy. If you're a MCF old-school fan, this is worthy.
