This game reminds me of the Farm Frenzy games. Feed the animals, collect the eggs (or whatever) they produce, buy buildings, make products. But it is different enough from the Farm Frenzy line of games to still be interesting and challenging. I LOVED the graphics! Adorable and unique. Worth buying.
I recommend this game!

A Gnome's Home: The Great Crystal Crusade
Help gnomes to return the magic crystal and rebuild their underworld kingdom.
This is a "clear the road" type game. Like Royal Envoy, but not as well done. It doesn't really add anything more to the mix, but is suprisingly challenging. The timed option is strict. I like the fact that it was possible to get stuck and have to restart the level. Make me think about my moves rather than just do what I wanted and let the resources regrow.
Worth the demo. Not a bad purchase, but not for me. Overall it was not very original.
Not my type of game, but cute. Retro graphics, animae feel. Waaayyy to much backstory! There is at least 5 minutes of talking (that you can't skip or speed up) before the game even begins. I was too impatient to play for long. I gave it the rating I did since I didn't play the whole demo.
Not a terrible offering - worth a try. At least it is something other than a HOG.
I recommend this game!

Assembly type games are not supposed to be thrilling, just a decent way to pass the time. This game couldn't pass 15 minutes. So boring I started thinking it was some sort of secret psychological test to see how long I would go on clicking. Proud to say I only wasted 10 minutes!
This is challenging enough for a child, maybe 2nd grade or younger. Static graphics, overly simple game play, no thought to story (why am I selling necklaces AND christmas trees AND note cards?) make it too much of a time waster if you aren't playing with a kid.
I don't recommend this game.

I wished that Big Fish would offer more tower defense games. I should have been more specific and wished for a good one. I only played 30 minutes, but it felt longer.
The rate you earn money to by new towers is way out of proportion to the cost of new tower or upgrade. Plus there is no fast forward button option. So after you set your towers you are forced to watch the teeny tiny ships blow up for a minute or two while you do nothing. After 30 minutes of play, the pace barely picked up enough to be interesting. I was playing on the setting just below the most challenging.
I did like the fact that the towers took damage, so you had to upgrade them or they would crumble. I also liked that the ships could come from multiple directions. If they could just tweak things to be more interactive it would be a huge improvement. Plus, the action seems to take place on barely half the screen. Why don't they just zoom in and make the objects bigger instead of having a huge unused map full of tiny characters?
As is, this game is definitely not worth paying for. It is really not fun enough to kill a free download hour.
