I have played several of the series, and the colors are gorgeous, vibrant, and at least in the later games, the slight 3-D quality of the colors as they're applied is very aesthetically pleasing, at least to me.
The designs are often quite quirky and unexpected, funky and psychedelic at times and I just love that. Never know what you'll get, if you don't look at the designs first, and I like to be surprised.
All in all a wonderful series, and so glad to be playing a new one!
The first thing that made me raise my eyebrows was the idea that the important thing in hospital care is reputation! Secondly, the only female in the game is dressed in a low-cut crop top and tight jeans?! The game play is clunky and the setting is unattractive. So not buying this one!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Great if you don't like much thought, but otherwise a drag.

If I wanted a weak-kneed version of a shooter, I wouldn't be playing search and puzzle games. The lead character had to be rescued by others much too often for my tastes, the plot was flat, the puzzles were reflex-based rather than demanding much consideration, and the end-game was repetitious and went on too long. Really a disappointment, and I can't understand these (to me) excessively generous ratings the game is getting. The only virtues were some okay searches and the excellent design, but I'm here to play, not to watch.
I don't recommend this game.

I played this game in relaxed mode, so not as difficult as in Adventure mode, I'm sure, but I still found it challenging and fun. I liked the fact that you didn't have to worry about how many workers you had, and you really had to think out your strategy of placing buildings near enough to farms and wells. It does get a little frustrating making sure that everyone has water and food before they get unhappy, especially if you have no choice in where you put your houses. But I did find it easy to accomplish all the goals for each level. I'll probably go back and play this one again, as I do with other similar games like this, this time in Adventure mode, to really challenge myself!
I recommend this game!

Tesla's Tower: The Wardenclyffe Mystery
In a fading world devoid of color, the ghost of Nikola Tesla reaches through the Ether and invites you on an incredible adventure through time and space.
For once, this game not only had entertaining puzzles and HOGs, but held together as a story. The background was fun, the style of the world was attractive, the pacing was good, and I very much enjoyed the English translation's characterization of the point-of-view heroine and her mentor, Tesla. There were one or two very minor typos but otherwise I had no complaints. And I liked the cat, too.
