Build It games are so fun. I love this one because you aren't starting over each level, instead, you continue building onto what you have previously built, an ever-expanding city with plenty of challenging quests to fulfill. This is a very relaxing game while still pushing you to plan ahead so you can beat the challenges. Just don't get too attached to your exact plans for your city though, never know when a twister will come through and tear up part of your city.
My mom and daughter both love playing this game too. With my daughter she finds all the odds and I find the evens or vice versa. Love that you can scroll in to see numbers easier when needed- some of those spaces are so tiny! Relaxing but addicting. You can easily spend an afternoon doing these so be careful of your time- chores will not be done lol.

I love playing the Delicious series. This one is very similar to the types of storylines. I like the movie set theme, it keeps the games different from each other but still easy to learn how to play. I play on normal mode and its just the right amount of challenge. Not too easy, but not impossible. Instead of a mouse to catch, we get to catch a cute little lizard. Need to destress? I highly recommend this cute game.
Loving this game- far more than the Home Designer Makeover Blast. This one actually has lots of fun mini games to change it up and not get boring. The main game is hidden objects to build up money to buy furniture (lots of options) to decorate different rooms. The mini games change between match 3, word search, and memory games. None of them are overly difficult, although I did have to get my daughter to help me find some of the objects lol
This game is more about matching that is about home design. If you love matching colors, etc then you will love this- think Candy Crush. However, if you were looking for a game, as I was, that is home designing then this game may be a let down. I keep playing since I paid for it and want to see how the rooms turn out, but its getting very difficult and I am only on the 3rd room design. You have to play a lot of rounds of the color matching to earn enough $ to purchase the objects in the room as you get deeper in the game.
This game takes very little thought but a lot of waiting for tasks to get completed. I am sick as I write this and this is about the only game I can play in my groggy state of mind. For a "strategy" game it could use some extra challenges and strategy. You do have to pick the right set of villagers to start the game or you won't even make it through the tutorial stage. I have been playing for like 2 hours and my villagers are still building the hut and its only 20% completed so I haven't even finished the tutorial yet. I discovered if I use 2 villagers to distract the heathens the 3rd builder can get the needed wood for the huts.
This fun Christmas themed game is just as much fun as the other Delicious Emily games. Some of the challenges are tricky to beat, you really have to pay attention! Paige is growing up and wants to be an angel in the Christmas play, but of course that snooty neighbor had to ruin it for her and make her daughter the angel instead. Its a cute story line except for the fact that its snowing (clearly winter time) and Paige starts off the new game on her first day of preschool...wait doesn't preschool start in early fall like all other schools? They do in Oklahoma anyways lol. If you love the Emily games you will love this one too! A must have for your collection! I wish Big Fish carried all of the Delicious Emily games- I would buy them all!
Cathy is chasing the dreams of others instead of her own. But once she discovers her passion, her strength will be put to the test. Will Cathy stay true to herself?
I have enjoyed all of the Emily games and now I am hoping they develop a series of Cathy games. She is a sweet little crafter who just wants to do her art. The story line could be much better though- Cathy has a horribly selfish boyfriend, a weird old friend who's cat, Ming, keeps wandering into her store and she just takes care of him while she runs the store. I like that you get to choose what is sold in the store based on the customer base coming in each day so you can change it up on every level. Some of the levels can be more difficult to pass on the 1st try.
I recommend this game!

Zoo Vet
Travel around the zoo, performing check-ups on cuddly otters, dangerous lions, wobbly penguins, and hyper zebras.
We picked this game because it is educational and my 8 year old daughter wants to become a zoo keeper. She really likes being able to examine and fix the animals in this game, however, she cannot do it without my help. It is even somewhat difficult for me to figure out on some of the tasks like which questions to ask can be tricky. Besides the terrible introduction (graphics are horrible) this game isn't that bad for educational purposes (investigative and animal fact) but its not like super duper fun and relaxing after a stressful day at work lol
Its not very often that I enjoy playing a computer game that my 8 year old daughter also enjoys...but this game is embarrassingly fun for adults too! She plays on the easy untimed level and I play on the timed normal level. The game is simple enough to play and there are mini hidden object games between some levels. There are 3 different zoos and as you work your way through them you choose from a variety of upgrades to your zoo and gain new animals. They are super needy animals too! I recommend upgrading your zoo helpers- vet, janitor, and mechanic- as quickly as possible to free you up for other tasks.
