This match three was just different enough to make it fun. I would never give a match game a 5 star rating so 4 stars from me is high. I liked the fact that each level had a different set of criteria some were timed, some involved not using bonuses, some had a higher level of reasoning to do in a certain number of moves, and some just involved tenacity. The variety built in helped someone like me, with hands that have some challenges, not be over taxed by needing to over click or go at a continuous fast pace. I did this during a time when I was busy with a huge number of volunteer projects and this provided the nice little break, but was easy to leave and come back to at the next break, just what I needed.

At first look I did not think I was going to enjoy this game because the characters and such are small, so visually it is not the most stunning of games and some objects are very tiny. However, I loved the game. I rank it as one of my favorite point and click adventures. Not as long or complex as Westward or Wandering Willows, but with some of the qualities that make those so enjoyable. It was a nice 5-6 hours of game play. I would have loved to have it be longer because I was really enjoyed the game.
I recommend this game!

I forgot to do the star thing, so I came back to give this 5 stars, if I could give it 4.5 I would, since it is not as good, in my opinion as games in the vein of Westward that allow a lot of player decision making, but it is better than most TM (Time management) building games. Lovely graphics, ordinary but not annoying music (at least for me, my family says turn it down), not over challenging, but I do have to redo some levels to figure out the order of play, ordinary storyline.
I recommend this game!

I was shocked when I looked up Westward (hoping that somehow there might be a new game) to only see 5 reviews. This series is what hooked me on playing games and I am still wishing for more games of this variety that are as good as Westward, Wandering Willows, & Hero of the Kingdom. In my opinion the Westward Series (and Westward III specifically) is the best. The play is all similar, you have a quest to achieve and must travel around a map and produce and find things in order to achieve that quest.
However many games limit where you can place and build items, what order you must do things in, etc. This game assumes you have intelligence and allows you the freedom to build things wherever you want. Some choices may mean you cannot complete the task because you run out of money or get killed or burnt out because you do not have enough support help with you, but that is part of the game. You learn, just as folks settling a new land did, what you must have and take care of first in order to survive. Each of the five games in the series are long playing and well worth the money.
I know that the company who developed this has been sold. There must be some game creators who could create something similar in Africa, the Rain Forest, Australia, and many other places that would be just as fun. Big Fish, can't you find or hire these folks?
I recommend this game!

Who would have thought making graves could be fun

How odd to enjoy a game where you dig graves. I actually thought this one was fun- sort of an odd concept, selling grave plots so you can earn money to buy your spoiled girlfriend gifts and go on vacation – but the actual creation of the plots allows you to make a lot of design choices. Some of the decorations around the graves are a fun commentary on what we would like to try and "take with us". You even get the opportunity to be charitable by adding extra for a poor customer if you like. The challenge here is in using the ground wisely, so you get the best profit for the decorations and also do not run out of land. So it is a bit more complex than it first appears. Since I am not a horror fan, I like the fact that the ghosts that come out at night do not hurt Mr. Jones, they just send him off to bed.
All in all, something just a little bit different. Which is always a treat when you like the idea of gaming to keep your mind working.
