You know how a series can often lose it's edge and disappoint? Well. not with this one, Grandma Studios has brought together so many of the past characters, cleverly done in different chapters, and more puzzles than you can shake a stick at, and not old ones either, I've had to skip a couple but in the knowledge I'll be playing it again and again. Thank you Grandma !!

I haven't finished the game yet, but just had to stop to write this. For once I ignored the usual critics, and I'm so glad I did, I'm totally hooked on this. Great background music, great NEW puzzles as well as old favourites, good voice-overs, great art, what's not to like ? and yes, the HO scenes are also varied, try, I'm sure you'll love it. Yes, there's no Rube Golberg puzzles, but by golly, some of the ones in here rival his !!

HOGs and Puzzles galore, weakish storyline, but all games now seem about the same in that department, but the playing of the game made up for it. Well done Grandma.
Though the story is weak, the game too short, it was a delight to play, I love the mini-games of which there were many, OK, so they weren't all new ones, but I felt i was kept busy enough to feel as if I wasn't just along for the ride. I urge you to at least, give it a try.
Very disappointed with this game, nothing new in it, storyline was weak, more runes, spells and magic looking for lost sister. Heard it before? yes, that's how I felt, kept hoping mini-games would lift it, but they didn't. Perhaps I'm just HO jaded, give it a try, we gamers are so different that you may enjoy it.
It's been a long time since I wrote a review, but this game has taken my breathe away. There are no dragons, no spells to concoct, just you against a technology rigged hotel, rigged by a psychopath of course. There were times when I was holding my breath and really felt the threat of time wasted, so no breaking off to search junk piles unless you were searching for something specific to the game. This is a well constructed story and game, I haven't finished playing it yet, thought I'd let the adrenaline flush before retiring or I'll never sleep. !! Do try it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)
It's a long time since I've done a review, but after finishing this game, I just had to send a round of applause to Alawar games. Although there was nothing new in the way of mini-games, I still enjoyed them. The gem of this game was the storyline and graphics, and just something about the "no hand holding" feel of it, although the map and hints were always spot on if needed. I'm already looking to see what other games this developer has !!
I recommend this game!

Sorry developers, but you've really let your fans down with this one.
I have loved their previous games, but this was appalling. Good was the art work and a jumpable map is always welcomed, but that was all. The story was very weak, the puzzle level was kindergarden, some of the items to use were senseless, I have played SE games with more of a story and puzzle challenge than this game has. I hope the developers read these comments too, as I 'm not the only bitterly disappointed fishie in the pond.
I'm totally bored by the whole thing, the only good thing was the clear graphics. gameplay here there and everywhere, in your face characters (sorry series lovers#, and the story didn't grip me. I felt it was supposed to be realistic, but the destruction of property #steals a spring from her mattress!) and theft from property, was more in the realms of fantasy than a realistic cop show. A big thumbs down i'm sorry to say.
