I thoroughly enjoyed this game until the end, I almost couldn't finish the game because of a mni game that did not have a skip button. It took a really awesome, unique game and left me the player very frustrated with the end. That is my only complaint with this game. Other then that the graphics were great, creepy music that wasn't annoying. Story was great however, i was a bit disappoint with the end of the story and thought it could have had a better ending, I thought the story lost it's spook factor half way through the game but it was still enjoyable. i do not regret my purchase.
I recommend this game!

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!
If I were to describe the game in one word: CHALLENGING ! Word of warning: If you are looking for the usual story line, crowded HOG scenes, hand holding maps and sparkles that show you where to go and a hint system that is helpful, this is NOT your game. It does requires you to put more time and thought into things as you progress.
It's different and refreshing and I actually feel like i am playing the game and not just going through the same old boring motions that a lot of games have become....I mean how many times can the same game play style be recycled?
I hope this is a sign of more games like this coming to BF. Most of us are not kids we are adults who badly want more intense game play that is geared more for our age. This game is both eerie and creepy as well as challenging and i have truly enjoyed the change of pace it has brought to the table.

Just finished the game and all i can say is wow!! This game incorporates whimsical and eerie in a way that is magical and captivating. Absolutely stunning!!! the story was incredible and kept your attention while the scenes just swept you away in awe and made you stop and just take it all in. I have never seen a game carry itself in every way soo well as this one did. Toward the end it was late and i was up alone and when the character said..who dares enter!!..i just sat in my chair and looked behind me and back at the computer screen uneasy and whispered to myself...me I think?. Little did i know the jeepers creepers that awaited me ahead still. It really pulls you in. It's a game that offers both easy and challenging aspects to the gameplay which i really liked and appreciated. Whether one area was easy or challenging..it was creatively different and that made it fun and interesting. Being able to sustain a story the way they did without it withering and losing it's magic was indeed impressive..especially for me as i tend to lose interest half way through a game because the story loses it's wow factor..not this one! i only continued to become more fascinated and didn't want it to end...almost cried when it did.
The main game itself was worth way more then the price of a CE hands down. In the CE you can replay the minivideos, puzzles, games and HOS's and it shows you how well you did and offers to let you raise you score by replaying...and the clip art they actually took the time to explain what they were thinking and wanted to achieve in creating the scenes..it was almost poetic reading the devs thoughts as they brought us into their little world in creating it. The CE offers the music sound track which in this case actually was worth it to me for the first time because i loved both the beautiful and errie choices of music they used for the game. The choice of wallpapers were carefully chosen to be of the best selections..something most devs are sloppy about when doing. There is also additonal play in the poster section and the posters have to be pieced back together.
The bonus game was short but still good if you want to back track on the story and enjoy morphing objects which the bonus game included as a special touch. But there is also an additional game after the bonus game to be played for those of you who enjoy collectibles and collected them all in the main game...all those acorns were not collected in vain..yes there is a extra short game dedicated to putting those to use.

These devs take pride in their work no doubt and have a very special gift that comes from the heart in what they do. I paid full price for this game and i am glad i did because it's devs like this i wanna support and see more of. This game stays in my heart and will be played time and time again as i can never imagine being bored with it because it's so rich and captivating in every way possible. I will gladly open my pocketbook for these devs games and like others all i can say is MORE MORE!!!...they rock!

I just can not say enough about the wonderful job and effort this team put into this game!! At first i was alittle irritated at the beginning of the game given the collectible boxes dinging and popping up on the screen, but given i was seeing new things i liked, i am glad i continued to play. What a refreshing approach compared to the same old same old boring hand holding games we are generally served up.
Really loved the way the map was used and that it didn't spoil the game play and do all the work for us because honestly, i don't feel like i am playing the game when all i am doing is clicking on a map the whole time to jump from the roof to a room to a tree to the street..i want to get out there and explore my environment and immerse myself into the games setting and scenery . This map toned down those game spoilers yet still allowed it to offer alittle guidance if needed. We have endless games that have made no attempt to recognize there are many of us who want to actually play the game..not the game playing it for us ..thank you for your effort
I loved loved loved the new and different approach to the puzzles and mini games as well as being creative with the hidden clues throughout the game and their uses. Thank you for not making the cursor change a mile away from the actual object of interest..big plus!!!!
The graphics were excellent especially for the story setting and the atmospheric effects were outstanding The dark creepy storyline is right up there with what i prefer in a hog story and you guys did a great job with it.

The graphics were breath taking and what can i say about the detail work..just outstanding. The story and charactors had soo much potential..but it never manifested because the whole game was overrun by puzzles and mini games. I adored the first game in this series so much so i didn't even play the demo with the release of this one..wish i had because if i had known the whole game was nothing but back to back puzzles and mini games i would have skipped this game. I just hope the next one actually has a story to play out and adventures not just puzzles and mini games around every corner. I like mini games and puzzles but not to the point it drowns out everything else.
I don't recommend this game.

BRAVO!!! Outstanding game and what a thrill to play. Storyline was unique, different and engaging and the graphics were beautifully done. No distractions such as junk piles to sort through that had nothing to do with the story. It's soo much more fun to find things that actually serve a purpose to the story then to be taken off to a junk pile to find things just to be finding things with no purpose. The whole story line and game play seemed to be done on a more serious and dedicated level...you got that wow factor playing it as it drew you into the story.... the end was quite enchanting and left you feeling/hoping that surely a sequel must follow because you didn't want the story to end.
I thought the game was not too hard yet not too easy..just the right balance of both. Looking forward to seeing what this dev will put out next and crossing my fingers Where Angels Cry will have a sequel!!!

Repetitive and doing the same thing over and over. Had to click stuff several times to get it to do what it was suppose to do. Didn't get far enough to note the other problems reported by others as i didn't see the need to be further annoyed.

What a captivating and intriguing game..wow!!! I generally am not a fan of these kinds of games but this one has me hooked. Absolutely beautiful and the story is outstanding. Finally a series i can fall in love with and look forward to the next one and the next one!!! Stunning and beyond belief game play.

Agree, way too much talking and reading!! Just boring! pickers is soo much better because you have way more control and involvement in things you are picking and selling. Here all you are doing is reading and reading and finding stuff and that about sums it up. Very disappointing.
