Rescue Quest is a copy of an older (and better!) Match 3 game called Da Vinci's Secret.
The game-play formula is simple: clear a path towards a goal by matching similar gemstones. You match more than three, you get power-ups. You progress in the game, power-ups get stronger.
The main issue I have with this game is the very low difficulty bar. As you progress, the levels stay the same, with minor nuisances added to make you do more moves. The time restriction isn't even felt.
Another problem is, at least for me, the very bright color choice and the annoying and recurrent sounds. Graphics, overall, need some polish.
I overall would not recommend it, because it's boring and tiresome.
This is a game made with care, You can see it in every little detail, from the wonderful music and sound effects, to the artwork and story line. I guess it;s one of those "form beats function" things, since Fairly Twisted Tales is first and foremost gorgeous to look at. The story is nothing special and there's nothing new in terms of gameplay. Still, it's worth your time and i highly recommend it.
This is a mediocre game in all the areas tha matter. That means it's not that great, but it's not that bad either.
It's not particular fun to play, since the puzzles are not challenging and the hidden object scenes not special in any way.
The visual quality and sound are acceptable, if boring and run-of-the-mill.
The story lines is what got to me: how many times can game developers serve yet another "bad demon/specter/sorcerer/mad scientist kills every inhabitant of a town and you get to chase him through deserted *insert creepy place here*"? Needless to say, the story is boring and nothing you haven't heard before.
All in all, alright for beginners that haven't played many games in the genre.
Help Oozi find his way home in Oozie: Earth Adventure! This classic 2D platformer offers old school gameplay, but with modern visuals and hand-drawn art.
This is a cute game, with great graphics and sound quality. I guess it's O.K. for kids, but i didn't find it varried or interesting enough. The levels don't really feel like they have a goal, so you're not driven to finish. All in all, the game is ok, especially for the little ones.
This is everything rythm games should not be. It's boring, repetitive, tiring and impossible to control. The melodies are too simple and way too long. They loop time and time again till they drive you crazy. The control part is what got to me. There is no way you can play it on a computer keyboard. Stick with other Hero type games, cause this is not worth it.
This is a simlpe little game, with a easy to understand gameplay. What makes it refreshing is the wonderful art, as welll as the soothing musing. Another plus is the level of challenge, which gradually increases and stops the game from getting boring.
Nothing new here. Run of the mill story, music and game play. I suppose you can give it a try, but you won't remember it after a week. Only played 15 minutes or so and uninstalled. Looks good and it's a good pass-time if you have nothing better to do.
I only played the demo, so my review is only based on what i saw in the hour or so. First of all, the game is pretty fun. It's the basic pick up item, use it someplace to find another item, with the occasional hidden object scene (basic stuff, no surprises here). The story was meh - i think i played through dozens of similar plot-lines. The graphics and sounds are well done, no problem there. Challenge level is very low, as it's pretty obvious where you're supposed to use an item and puzzles are quite simple. This makes it a good game for beginners.
