I really enjoy the plot, voice "mumbles and grunts" and music but most of the time, the sound on the game doesn't work! And it's not only my laptop; I've downloaded it on another too. The game is advertised as Adventure but I feel that most of the time I do hidden object puzzles and the resolution isn't great plus the click meter is "fussy"; I can't click absent minded-ly like I usually do because it freezes me for a few seconds ever few seconds. Decent puzzles and challenges. I don't necessarily recommend this game though.
I don't recommend this game.

As always, I love the illustrations and user interface that Blue Tea games creates. The music isn't as magical as Macabre Mystery's Curse of the Nightingale but it works well with the environment. It's a little thing we usually forget to mention, the special effect sounds are pleasing, "twinkly" and not obnoxious. The plot was a little awkward for me with the prince loving a bunch of different princesses so I couldn't fall in love with the game (call me old fashioned); but besides the plot, the voices, animations and mini puzzles are fun. Mini puzzles are slightly challenging but not enough to be stressful. Also, I love the hidden object puzzles because you create an usable object instead of wasting your time finding useless items.
I recommend this game!

A kingdom’s future rests in the light of three beacons. Can they be lit in time? Will the shadows be cast into light?

I really enjoyed the interface, plot and illustrations; very unique and dreamlike with a side of creepy.
The music was also very atmospheric and well done.
What I did not enjoy was the main part of the game: the puzzles.
I would describe them as very abstract and not very intrinsic or logical. I wish I had an abstract way of figuring out puzzles but some of them didn't make a lot of sense for me, such as: using a net to catch flying red books in a library which didn't seem to be to be an obvious action, versus other games where you are given a hammer and realize you have to nail boards in or smash a vase; ie, the thinking is abstract and creative not necessarily logical or reasonable, so that is why I didn't find this game relaxing. But there are infinite clues given. I also appreciate the lack of hidden items which are boring in most other games.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the game's graphics and illustrations; so much detail and elaborately ornate designs! The music was haunting and beautiful so I had to buy the Collector's Edition to have the music file and backgrounds. The plot was enchanting and the bonus continuation went well with the whole game. I prefer BlueTea's hidden objects because you're looking for beautiful parts to create a whole, not random items; feels more interactive. Played it twice already!
I recommend this game!

Loved the plot and characters first of all; believable and fun without being corny. Great illustrations; a mixture of artistic styles such as Art Nouveau that blended very well with the theme and history and plot. Gaming quality was great; a lot of fun interaction, pleasant sound effects and exciting visual effects. Challenges weren't hard but I wasn't looking for something mind-breaking.
I recommend this game!
