I really wanted to like this game enough to purchase. Alas, it was not full screen, and there was a cut scene every two minutes. I want to play, not watch (skip) movie after movie. I did enjoy the lovely scenery but I've seen better. This game was a bit youthful and easy for my tastes. I'm not reviewing just to get key contributor or top reviewer recognition. That's easy, just give every game five stars.
As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.

I encountered a glitch in a HOS that I couldn't negotiate unless I started over, and I was already near the end of the trial. I'll probably be missing out on a great game because I won't be purchasing this.
I don't recommend this game.

I love fairy tales and fantasy genre, and I really wanted to like this game enough to buy it. It was just way too easy. Still a lovely game if you don't mind cut scenes every 60 seconds, some even in the midst of a hidden object scene.
I recommend this game!

This is definitely a fun game and I love the interface, the way it plays. I would have loved this a few years ago. Beautiful graphics. It's a no buy for me, though, as I loathe having to WAIT to skip a puzzle.

I love the rustic, woodsy feel of this game. It just holds no replay value for me due to the extremely annoying fact that EVERY single time you pick up an inventory item, you have to hit the "ok" box to acquire it. At one point there was a jewelry box with 5 gems in it. So, red gem, ok, green gem, ok, and so on. Also, after you try an inventory item in a scene and it's not the correct item, you can't just click to get rid of it, you have to drag it back to the inventory box and click it there. Small things, but still.....
I recommend this game!

This game was fun! Some out-of-box thinking was put into the making of this game. I found The Other Side refreshingly different because I get tired of the same old mechanics. There were ho's within ho's within portraits on the walls, there were creepy and twisted things to do and figure out. There were cat paw prints to find to purchase hint recharges. My only gripe was the ambiguity within the store. Can you re-use the upgrades you purchase? Use only one at a time? But, great game! Thank you!
I recommend this game!

I've had lots of fun w the Shadow Wolf series. I just have to say that I agree an awful lot with Average Size Fish's review regarding the cruelty. I understand that the devs had to be consistent and follow through w the theme. I get it. It's just that there are people out there that are impressionable enough to think wolves are evil, and that leg traps are not so bad. This only perpetuates man destroying an awesome species that adds dimension to the natural world. End of rant.
I don't recommend this game.

For your review. Wish I would've seen it first. It is mind boggling to me how anyone can even play a match 3 at ALL when you have to wait, after making each and every match, for the rest of the tiles to cascade before you can match again. This game is WAY to slow for me. Too bad, the theme is lovely.
I don't recommend this game.

Holy scripts! I love this game. I'm partial to the fantasy genre anyway, and I knew right away this is worth buying. Yeah, there're a couple of insignificant flaws but imo, they're overshadowed by all the fun. It's got a ton of unique bells & whistles to enhance game play, and I'm always on a search for any HOG/ADV. game that's different yet still well-done.
You have to find little gold coins throughout, you can switch over to match 3 during any HOS, you buy upgrades in the shop like instant hidden object reveal, faster skip time, etc. Good job space monkey, thanks for thinkin' out of the box. Bring us more!
I recommend this game!

I'm always on a search for an adventure game that's just a little bit different than the same old: put this here, find this, move here, repeat. However the storylines differ, gameplay is still always the same. Someone actually put thought into the HOS's and the puzzles to make this game UNIQUE. For that I am grateful.
