I played this game on expert and was satisfied with the difficulty. I liked the storyline even though I've seen the haunted house theme a few times in other games. The mystery kept me interested and wanting more. I thought the commentary was rather humorous at times. The visuals could have been better. The objects in the HOS were sometimes hard to see. I only bought the SE so I didn't get to see that extra level which is disappointing but I enjoyed the game.
When your daughter, Emily, is taken over by a mysterious force, you must travel to the Nightmare Realm to search for a cure. But nothing could have prepared you for what you find there…
I loved the first one so much that I didn't hesitate to buy the second with even trying it first. I was not disappointed when I began playing. The graphics are just beautiful and I even put one of the wallpapers on my computer screen. The story is so unique and I love the storybook paintings. They're always full of such unique worlds and characters. I loved the map and instead of having a journal you had event cards. The origami collectibles is something I really looked forward to and was not disappointed. The music was very nice to listen to while playing. I'm always so captivated by the game that I don't want to stop playing. overall it was a very enjoyable game. If we're lucky they'll come out with another or at least another wonderful series.
This game is what I had hoped for in the "Grim Tales" series. My grandmother and I both love this series. The artwork is exceptional and the story is very unique. Some puzzles were more challenging than others but the challenge was satisfying. The characters were very interesting and I loved the pet that you obtain. Not an overwhelming amount of HOS. I believe you never do one HOS more than once. The map was very helpful and I loved the fast travel. Although my map would sometimes show objectives that I had already completed especially on the bonus content. The music was a little lacking considering sometimes it wasn't there. I really like the journal feature in games and this time it wasn't there. But I don't think that took away from the game at all. I highly recommend any of the Grim Tales games.
Not a bad game but certainly not the best. I've played games like "My Kingdom for the Princess" and this game doesn't compare in challenge or storyline. The storyline was simple and used. The levels were not challenging. Game play was very simple and didn't require much strategy. The visuals were good but could have been clearer and maybe more detail. I thought the goblins stealing time was unique. I would not recommend this game.
This game is extremely repetitive and I haven't even finished it yet. The clothing designs and colors are beautiful and I love the variety of designs. I absolutely love the creative mode where you can create your own designs for each show. The storyline is almost nonexistent despite each cut-scene before each show. I wish that they would have less and longer cut-scenes. It's not high on my list of favorites.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
First off, I'm not really a huge fan of the MCF. I believe I've only bought two or three and one was completely disgusted by. This game however had pretty realistic artwork. The acting was okay. I know this is a PC game but it is still a job so act least take the acting a little more seriously. The way they did the HOS was pretty interesting and I enjoyed it. The level of challenge was okay. I did love the storyline. It didn't leave the player wanting more depth or detail. I loved the map, but I wish the map locations were more separate or outlined so you know which is which. Overall I enjoyed it!
The storyline was a little confusing and in my opinion left out some things. It was a good storyline despite being choppy. It was beautiful artwork. I don't know if this was the game or my computer but while I was playing my arrow moved slowly and would stick. The level of challenge was low. But I still enjoyed the game. I liked the movement from room to room.
I love the storyline and comic book art that goes along with it. The puzzles weren't too challenging. I like the way the hints are shown. It was a fun game, but not the best I've ever played

The artwork was beautiful and the storyline was very cute. I wish there was a little more substance to the storyline though. I think a few things were not explained. The items for the potions were very small so I would have several mess ups. I did not like that I couldn't replay a level to get expert. I not enjoy replaying the whole game just to get expert on every level. The levels were challenging enough that it was still fun but not near impossible to beat.
I recommend this game!

This game was very challenging for me. Near the end it became very difficult to pass all the levels, but I still love it. There wasn't much storyline to it, but I've found that many time management games don't have much of a storyline. I love the different cake decorations and the variety of characters. I really enjoyed this game.
