This game would be more enjoyable if we were allowed more choices. For instance why can't we name our little people ourselves?
Maybe choose what they look like? Give them real jobs? Beginner Soup Taster? Seriously?
And wouldn't it be better if they started out already married and instead of them living in big house that they couldn't afford in the real world, have them live in an apartment?
And instead of having them wandering around the house all day bored and depressed, actually have them leave to go to work and maybe invite family and friends over for dinner?
Also give them a starting salary of a few thousand dollars. At the rate my little people are "earning" money...well, quite frankly I am surprised that they aren't on welfare. lol.
This game would be more productive and fun if the game makers had actually put more thought and logic into it. :\
When I saw this game I didn't even wait to play the demo first, I bought the game immediately!
Unlike the first Grim Facade which takes place in 19th century Venice, this story takes place (from the look), in early 1930's Tuscany. The scenery was so lovely that I just took my time solving the mystery.lol.
All in all,I throughly enjoyed the game and I highly recommend it. :)
I love this game. The graphics are wonderful as was the music and the voices. The Scots accents was nice to hear. This game reminded me somewhat of Redemption Cemetary, where (you) the character is trapped by an evil ghost and you have to help out the ghosts who are trapped as well before you can escape.
I was very happy that there was a wallpaper of the library which I immediately set on my laptop! :)
I was so into the game that when my hour was up I bought it.I just had to find out what was going to happen next. And if the ending to the bonus chapter was any indication I believe that there will a sequel. Hopefully Soon! The puzzles weren't too hard but the hidden objects scenes did drive me a little nuts as some of the stuff was difficult to find. Oh,well! :)

I have just finished playing this game and I loved it.:) It is a sweet and quiet story of Patricia in search of 'SUN' who had decided that it needed a little vacation.lol.The pictures and colors and the music were like the story itself, quiet and sweet. My only disappointment about the game was that there were no wallpapers. I hope that there will be another game about Patricia coming soon! With wallpapers.:D

I just played the trial version, or at least part of it.I uninstalled it when I had eleven mintues left. The thing that I disliked most was the live action included in the game. With real people in the game it reminded me too much of Alfred Hitchcock inserting himself however briefly into his movies. It totally ruined my 'willing suspension of disbelief'. Add the fact that the character simply went willy-nilly to an unknown house inhabited by unknown people without having the police or a P.I. checking them out first! The puzzles were okay at first, until I got to the one on the desk.I didn't much care for the instruction on pressing three buttons five times.Did that mean I should press each one five times? Or what? I didn't know and there was no skip button that I could see, so I just threw in the towel and I uninstalled the game. So,no I won't be buying the CE or the SE either when it is released. :( p.s.I prefer my puzzles to be challenging, not confusing.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
This game is pretty good so far. I just wish that they hadn't used live action in the game.It distracts from the fun of the game. But I do recommend it. I guess.:\
This game would have been a lot easier if I had been able to turn the pages of the so-called strategy guide! As it was I never got into the house, or into the mine. But the visual effects were good...what I had been able to see of them and I did like the music.:\
