I had to stop playing the demo to make my review.
I love everything about this game so far so it is a definite buy for me! If I could describe it in one word, it would be "Beautiful". Mad Head has been producing astounding, quality games lately. I enjoyed "Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death" immensely and this game looks like it will be the same or even better. Their unique take on game-play, Hidden Objects and logic puzzles take on a new and refreshing twist to me. At times I get bored with the same old HO scenes in games, but not in this one.
Right away, I noticed the amazingly crisp graphics and gorgeous and haunting piano music. It was not annoying or grating. Music can really add or take away from a game. The cut scenes were in perfect HD quality with no blur, unlike so many games have unfortunately. The game has a very pleasant younger female voice-over. Being an audiophile; I can easily pick out the same VO artists in many games and it is refreshing to hear a new voice once in a while. I am very picky about sights and sounds and this game is nothing but pleasure to me so far.
When looking at the "Extras" page, I saw that this game is jam-packed with goodies. They have all the extras you would expect in a CE game. There are Morphing objects (which I love), Achievements, photos and videos, bonus chapter, bonus games, and more. When morphing objects are collected, they are used to create an interesting picture piece by piece. This is something I have not seen before.
I am eager to get back to playing, so I will let the other reviewers point out more details about the story-line and game details. I strongly recommend this game, and all the older games by this game developer. I believe they are emerging as leaders in this industry and pay attention the players' demands. Please keep up the good work Mad Head, and do not stop producing such quality games! This game will be a splendid addition to our game collections!

Mystic Saga is an entertaining Free to Play Hidden Object game! It is similar to games like "Found" and "Midnight Castle" in game-play with some interesting twists. I like to think of it as a Strategy-HOG, rather than an Adventure-HOG. You will not walk around looking for keys to locks. Instead you will revisit Hidden object scenes to find collectibles, gadgets, and items to fulfill quests. Think of this as a different style of HOG game.
There are tons of collections to collect, so if you are a collector you will really enjoy this.
The game can be played completely free and is never-ending unlike the premium HOG games. You can purchase additional currency if you are impatient and eager to progress faster.
These types of games usually have you unlock different scenes, which you revisit often, but with increasing challenges. Each scene can be played in different modes; including night mode and silhouette mode.
There are also these floater characters roaming your land. You can either banish them or trade with them. I find this really adds extra fun to this game.
Although this game is by a new developer, it is very competitive to others like it. It has an intriguing and unfolding story-line, and fabulous graphics. The items are not tiny and easy to see. You also get a multiplier reward for spotting items fast.
Also I am thrilled that this game is male-friendly. I am not a male, but enjoy being a male character once in a while. This game would seem more attractive to males which is a bonus.
This game will yield unending fun with the right strategy and patience in the early stages. I think I am keeping this one!
I recommend this game!

This is the 4th game in the series but there is no need to have played the previous. Each installment has its own story. It is a fairy-tale based game with a lot of "cute" factor. If you are looking for a more grow-up game without the cuteness overload, this is not for you. Otherwise, it is very enjoyable for fairy-tale lovers.
This game has stunning graphics, and tons of extra CE bling. You will get TONS of extra features for your money. Eipix really packed in the bonuses!
Game extras include:
- Bonus HOP's and Puzzles
- Music, Wallpapers, and Snapshots
- "The Making Of" video
- Achievements
- More bonuses that can only be unlocked upon game completion.
Conclusion: I recommend this game and its predecessors for beginner to intermediate players who love fairy-tale stories and lots of game extras!

I will keep this brief:
This is the kind of game I have been looking for from Elephant for a while now. It is far superior to the last two games that came out from our pachyderm friends. No silly nonsense here! It has a fun and refreshing, adult friendly story-line. The graphics and music are gorgeous and the voice overs are convincing. There was a minor glitch in the bonus chapter with the fireplace but it is probably fixed now. The solution is on the game forums for those interested.
Keep them coming Elephant Games!
I recommend this game!

I am sad to say that this game is a huge disappointment for me and I am writing a negative review. I only made it about 14 minutes before uninstalling.
This game seems to have been done by amateurs and is extremely unpolished and very difficult on the eyes and ears.
PERSONAL DISLIKES:
1. There were numerous grammatical errors and typos right from the get-go, which I find super annoying.
For example: "I need to go do London" etc.
2. My vision is decent, but the text in this game is ultra teeny and uses probably the smallest font I have ever seen in a HOPA.
If that is not bad enough, the text disappears before you are finished reading it and is cut off on the top of the screen in some areas. There definitely needs to be a continue button in all games like this.
3. Right from the beginning the game is more "clicky" than "thinky". You are presented with an extremely easy puzzle that requires a good length of time to click, click, click, to get it completed. Yawn! I prefer games that have me use my brain to figure things out than just easy time-killers.
4. The voice overs were absolutely awful in my opinion. The characters' voices were unbearably irritating, especially of the young girl. She was really sqeaky.
LIKES:
The only thing that I liked was the art style of this game. The colors were lovely and the art was in a unique style from the usual.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
I could not go on with this game. All the factors I mentioned, gave me a headache and I could not get past them. The only redeeming quality was the graphics, which were unique.
I really hope to see improvements in the next game by this developer. Please test and proof read your games before putting them out.
Thanks for your time!
I don't recommend this game.

I am a big fan of ERS games and thought this one is their best game yet!I will spare you the usual details since you will find them in other reviews.
After completing the entire game, I am looking forward to playing it over and over again. The story-line was intriguing and fairy-tale based which I love. It had just the right amount of challenge to be fun but not so hard that I had to get bogged down. The music was the best that I have heard in an ERS game. I could not stop listening to it. Simply beautiful.
There are 2 interesting helper characters in the game that you will get to name, dress and more. One being a fairy and the other an elf. That is simply priceless and adorable!
There is "bling" galore in this game, including tons of achievements, collectibles, music etc. I especially loved collecting items for the fairy and dressing her in gorgeous dresses and have her perform activities such as playing a musical instrument etc.
Simply a must have game for ERS and fairytale lovers! This game is a great escape of the mind and the senses!
I recommend this game!

After waiting 2 years I was thrilled to see this game! I thoroughly enjoyed the first game in this series; "Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek".
This game can be played without having played the first one even though I would recommend it because it was great.
Based on completed demo:
This time the story takes place in the redwood forests of California instead of Maple Creek, Vermont but it seems that the stories are interconnected! You are still the same detective that was on the case of the previous game.
Many improvements have been made since the 1st game. The graphics were upgraded to a nice crisp HD and the colors are vivid. The characters now appear in 3-D instead of flat.
The story intrigued me right off the bat when I found a little girl alone in an abandoned camper due to mysterious circumstances. If you like a good story with your game as I do, you will like this one. I don't want to give it away.
There were spooky surprises that made me jump out of my seat a few times and I enjoyed that. It has been quite a while since a game had that effect on me. If you like surprises this one is for you.
I also like how this game plays more like a detective than other games. You actually collect evidence, compare it and make deductions.
The other plus about this CE verion of the game is TONS of bling! There are several collections to collect as you go. There are butterflies and "illusive objects". The "illusive objects" are similar to the morphing objects that we are used to but with a slight twist on how we pick them up which I found interesting.
There are also achievements, music soundtracks and other goodies that we are accustomed to seeing in the CE games of today.
The game seems a tad on the easy side so far for me but it may get harder as I progress.
This game is definitely a buy for me! It seems to be a great value for the money and incredibly entertaining!
I recommend this game!

I have just finished the demo to this game and I absolutely loved it! This was my first time playing a game from this series!
I loved just about everything about this game especially the intriguing story-line. The story is of a paranormal nature and blends the 2 worlds together well. I found this refreshing from all the usual games that I have been playing lately and enjoy the creativity of this game.
The only minor issue I have with this game is the graphics. Although beautifully drawn and colorful, they are slightly grainy and not the usual crisp HD graphics I am used to from my pachyderm team. The game is so good that I can overlook that one thing. I would rate it a 4.5 and round it up of course.
This is definitely a buy for me and I am sure that I am only beginning to scratch the "surface" with this series!
I recommend this game!

I have just finished the demo to my first "Surface" game and I absolutely loved it! The best part about this game imo is the story-line. The story is of a paranormal nature and is refreshingly different from all the usual games out there lately.
I was also pleased to learn that this game was developed by my favorite pachyderm team!

After being disenchanted with the same old Match 3 games that keep popping up I discovered this little "gem", and got reeled back into the M3 world.
This game has very exciting and imaginative game-play. The graphics are stunning and the colors just pop.
The music was amazing with a Celtic flare which I love. I am very picky about game music, and it can make or break a game for me, but the devs did not disappoint. They even had a real Russian singer Catherine Rodkina sing the feature game song. Also I heard real instruments being played such as bagpipes and other woodwinds..not just synthesized sounds. The music reminds me so much of the Celtic Woman group. I would stop just to listen to the music alone!
The other part that I love is the added story line. It was a charming story about a little girl that gave the game a direction to move into.
The developers of this game are geniuses! Seriously!
I have only positive things to say about this game. Do yourself a favor and try it out if you are an M3 lover.
Definitely Recommend!
I recommend this game!
