I have loved every single Phantasmat until this one. This is WAAAAAAYYYYY too scary and evil and dark for me. Try it for yourself and see, but I can't possibly recommend it.

I had more fun with Tales of Lagoona 2 than I've had with a HOG in a long time. Even though I'm adult, I couldn't tear myself away from this game -- and spent nearly 3 days (thus, the title of my review) playing it all the way through for the first time.
The characters are a hoot, the dialogue is clever and the game play is excellent. The hidden objects are often tough to find, but there are also jewels to sock away and mini-games to challenge your brain. Oh, and don't forget to feed the sea horses in their corral.
I've waited and waited for Jolly Bear Games to get to another destination -- and Rio is as fun as all the others in this series. Love it, along with the hint they drop about another!

This is the best HOG of the year -- and of 2012, too. The coolest thing is: once in awhile, I actually had an object in inventory when I needed it, which is a big "hurray." And it's rare that I want to watch the skip scenes but this one captivates. Fun from beginning to end. And the ending gave me chills.
