There were lots of hidden object scenes and puzzles to do in this game. The quality of the graphics in the hidden object scenes was a little fuzzy for me making it hard to find some of the objects. You visited the hidden object scenes more than once which wasn't really a negative because the second time I had better luck finding the different objects. The hint button refreshed rather slowly making me take more time to examine the scene and sometimes I was then able to find the hidden object. I really like being able to use the map to go back to a location rather than having to re-trace my steps. One feature I liked was the awards ... it will encourage me to play the game again in the future to see if I can improve my gameplay. There is so much to do that I think it will be a challenge to achieve all of the awards in one game.
When I first started playing, I wasn't sure I'd like the storyline, but after a while I got hooked and wanted to play continuously as long as possible in order to finish.

I loved the artwork in this game! The graphics in the hiddden object scenes were crisp and a good size, making it generally easy to find the objects without straining your eyes. Some of the puzzles were challenging and I ended up skipping them because I wanted to move along in the story. It would have been great if a player could go back and try the puzzles again after finishing the game.
I recommend this game!

I keep returning to play this game when I want a "coffee break" kind of game. Although there are different modes to choose from, I have been content to stick to the classic mode. The levels increase in difficulty as more of the Chuzzles get locked in place making it harder to make matches of three. There is a hint system showing where a move can be made. When no more moves are possible, the pieces can be scrambled. Once you've used up the scrambles the game is over. The "Christmas" aspect is just represented by having the Chuzzles wear seasonal hats, and scarves.

At first I didn't think I would like finding the fragments of the hidden objects, but once I got used to this style of gameplay, I found that I could find most without using the hint system. I found the story really kept me wanting to continue with the game to find out what had happened to the characters. I appreciate that there was a map to show the various areas, but it would have been an improvement if one could click on the map and go to a new location rather than having to backtrack through various scenes. I would have also like a "area cleared" comment since I sometimes spent more time than necessary looking for things that were in other locations. Overall, I really enjoyed this game and it took me probably six hours or more to finish. More experienced players would probably be able to finish quicker, but there were times when I just wanted to admire the scenery.
There are several characters in this game : Anna is the heroine, the female professor is the victim, there's an evil scientist/explorer, Lord R. who seems to get into trouble, and a few others. It's rather interesting to see how they interact with each other. There are a lot of hidden object scenes to work through. Most objects are able to be found without using the hint button. A few of the puzzles were a bit challenging and took a while to complete. There is a hint section that will let you know what you need to be looking for to complete some of the tasks. I didn't like how you had to go back and forth to different locations to find some of the things that were needed. Fortunately, there is a map that can take you to places quickly. The game took me quite a while to finish, probably 6 hours in all. I did spend time though looking a the graphics, so other players would probably be able to finish sooner. Overall, an enjoyable game.
The different scenes in the game were incredible with lots of appropriate details. The hidden object scenes were jumbles of things that were also appropriate to the particular scene, but at times I found it hard to find some of the objects. Voice acting and music were fantastic and added a lot to the game for me . It took me a while to remember to use the map to help me determine where to go next. I think it would have been a improvement in the game if you could click on the map to get to the next location rather than having to back- track through a lot of scenes. It was this back tracking that made the game longer, and became a bit tedious towards the end. When a puzzle was involved, the game didn't tell you what to do unless you clicked on the hint button. I found this to be a positive challenge most of the time..... I wanted to see if I could figure out for myself what was needed. I think the hint button could have refreshed a little faster. I was disappointed in the ending which left me with a "to be continued" feeling (although that was not stated in the game). I thought the game's story line was a great twist to the original.
