This game is fantastic!
You will really need to think when playing this game and it is so much fun that it's hard to tear yourself away from playing.
As far as clues and what to do, the question marks will let you know what you need to do to advance,
Once you figure it out, you will want to continue playing.
There is no time limit, so you can swim around, jump & splash as much as you want.
You can talk to the turtles & other sea creatures. But you have to be careful of some, as they can hinder your progress.
It started off with "huh, what do I do", then you just have to let Coloropus jump up out of the water and to the right of the screen and your adventure will begin.
The talk between the creatures & the "girlfriend" is very clever with the visual clues.
Coloropus can also turn in to a little devil (try it, you will see)
Give the demo a chance. Once you get off the first screen you will be amazed at how much fun, thought provoking & clever this game really is.
I recommend this game!

Even though I knew the motion in traveling through this game would make me dizzy, I tried the demo and found the game to be fun & challenging.
The graphics and voice overs are very good.
This game will make you think and then think again.
Loved the challenge of the bison hunt and the fact there is so much history documented in this game
Played 50 minutes of the demo and got as far as finding the torches for the journey through the other caves.
Decided then to purchase, since I wanted to continue the adventure and knew I would not complete that challenge in the next 10 minutes!.
Try the demo. As far as game controls, remember you can also right click......
I recommend this game!

The game started out ok with the creepiest piano version of Silent Night ever heard!
There is a choice of casual or challenge modes of play.
You can change the volume for music & sound effects.
You can choose full screen, wide screen correction, custom cursor & extra brightness <we used this>.
In the beginning cut scene, there are no voice overs and minimal reading. Story line is good.
In the hour demo, there were a couple times when there were voice overs. They were ok.
The sound effects, however, are awesome.
There was no journal or map. The inventory and find list were at the top of the screen. That's fine, but takes a while to get used to, since most are at the bottom (better it seems)
The hidden object scenes were interactive.
There were a few scenes that made us jump!
The puzzles and/or mini games were not too challenging.
The most frustrating thing about this game is the black screen delay when moving from scene to scene.
All in all, with the exception of the very annoying delay between scenes, the game is fun with lots of interaction and awesome sound effects.
It will be a purchase and a fun way to spend a rainy day.
I recommend this game!

Played the demo. Knew within the first few minutes that this was a buy for us.
The game has fantastic everything! Voice overs, story line, graphics, sound.......
all awesome!
The scenes are interactive & different in the most clever of ways.
An amulet helps you find symbols to overcome evil.
You will be so caught up in the story that you will oblivious to what's happening around you in the real world!
Probably won't get many "this was helpful" on this review because the download is done and I want to get back to playing. Seldom do we play a game straight through, but think this one will be different.
Try the demo. You will love it............
I recommend this game!

The game was just ok for us. It's been a while since we played the 2nd of the series "Welcome to H*ll Lock" <couldn't use the "e" since I got a message that my review contained inappropriate language><made us chuckle a bit>.
Anyway, we remember the 2nd of the series as being a much better game. Might have to play that again.
Also, the hospital in this one is named Hill Lock, instead of H*ll Lock???? That was just odd.
There were no voice overs. The cut scenes were pretty good and reflected the past with movie type old film.
It seems there was a lot of random clicking to advance in the game.
The hints did refill quickly and if there was nothing to do in that scene, it didn't count as hint used.
We recommend you try the demo. We liked the story line but the game play was a bit ho hum, although some parts did require a bit of thinking to advance.
I recommend this game!

This game is quite fun and will keep the kids and/or yourself busy for a long time.
Each chapter has 6 stages of mini games and hidden object scenes to play. After each stage or at the end of the chapter you can update the ship that is being built.
Some of the puzzles and mini games are challenging.
Most of the hidden object scenes start out with find a number of objects and then change to a list of items to find.
Some of the items are difficult to determine, however you can have unlimited hints by finding a word or number in each scene. You will gain a hint.
If you have more than one item you cannot find, when you click hint, you can also select the item you want the hint to show you, rather than the game selecting at random.
Most of the scenes are interactive and some are funny in what needs to be done to advance.
The story continues after each chapter and is well done.
This is a fun game for all.
I recommend this game!

Bought this a while back and just played again.
It is a super hidden object game and you can learn some things about the past, too.
You travel to different locations to find the "great treasures".
The scenes are sometimes a challenge as all objects are well hidden. There are also helps as in you may need to dig, brush, burn or break open things to find the object you need.
You also need to find the "geocache" object that will be displayed in the museum. To find out what object this is, you click the down arrow at the upper right side of the screen and a riddle and/or description to solve will give you a clue as to what to find.
After all the scenes are finished in one area, you can go back and there is a bonus round of objects to find.
This is a great game for children & adults.
I recommend this game!

The game started off with an great cut scene that got us interested in the story.
When there were voice overs, they were good, although the music was a bit annoying.
The graphics are good. Some of the hidden object scenes had items that were very hard to find. Sometimes because of clutter & sometimes because they were well hidden! The cursor would freeze for a bit at random clicking.
Most often you received more than one item for your inventory.
There was a task list and a map that would take you to different locations.
One of the most annoying things in the game was there was too much talk <reading> as the characters seemed to have a comment on everything that was clicked on. Fortunately, all the reading stayed at the bottom of the screen instead of jumping back & forth between characters as some games do.
Some of the tasks took some thought in what to do.
<Bit of a task spoiler follows> You had to have the cursor pointed exactly in a specific spot to get it to work, as in the man hole cover. The spray needed to be right at the edges of the cover <you will see the graphics change as if the cover is getting wet>. This took quite a bit of time and was getting to the point of frustration when we figured this out.
All in all, the game was fun & a bit challenging. It's worth trying the demo. It may be a purchase for us based on the buy one get one deal Big Fish has going on now.
I recommend this game!

This game is one of the best we have played in a long time!
You really have to think on some of the puzzles & mini games. Although, there is a skip option.
The graphics are great and the cut scenes get you caught up in the story right away.
There are many achievements to acquire. Those are always a fun addition to any game.
The voice overs were ok, but a bit slow.
There is a "jewel" in the game that lights up and reacts to glyphs needed in the game. That was a clever unusual idea.
This game will give many hours of entertainment and we give it a rare 5 star rating.
I recommend this game!

Purchased this game a while ago and are playing it again.
It is a lot of fun, with many things to do and some great challenges.
By collecting jewels in each scene, you can get parts to a map that is interactive so you can jump from scene to scene.
Some of the puzzles are difficult, but not frustrating.
You need to actually think in some of the scenes to decide what needs to be done to advance in the adventure.
The graphics are amazing and the story is great!
I would recommend this game for both children & adults.
