When I've downloaded the free trial I haven't thought it would be so much fun. I now have a full version it's really fun, a great combo of challenges+achievements+bonuses. I love how dynamic the game is and how modern. A new take on classic time management.
It's a fun long gameplay, way better and more interesting that they've used some time ago for some of Andrea's gameplay. Levels were interesting and the money gathering process for buying upgrades was very involving. At the begining I thought the storyline was trashy, with overly mean characters and stereotypes but later I've gotten involved.
Disclaimer: I've only finished 60min trial of this game.
It is a cute game with some strong points and some weak points. I agree it's similar to Delicious series.
Strong points: I've really enjoyed the diversity of tasks - baking, grilling, refilling supplies etc, the variety is really a strong point of this game. It's cute, with nice storyline. I've enjoyed the sound.
Weak points: The graphics were a little bit crude and sometimes game features meshed with the background (payment bubble was hard to see on the table background). The levels were too easy. Personal preference: I don't like when the "shop" money is set for the amount of stars for the level. I much more enjoy when the amount of money spend for the upgrades is the amount you've managed to earn over the required amount.
Over all I'd definitely buy this game for 1 credit (7$?) but the 14$ they're asking isn't equal to the quality of the game. Delicious series is much nicer looking and more challenging.
I've enjoyed the game. I like unlocking new products and the speed of the game. It was challenging but fun. I wouldn't mind it being more difficult but it was fun. The storyline is always so soapy so I pay it less attention.
Take on the role of Emyr, probably the realm’s most famous hero. That is, until his career was destroyed by a dreadful wound. Now, Emyr works in the tavern.
There are a lot of stuff I liked about the game: the graphics, the storyline, achievements and all the bonus stuff are awesome, but the levels are too easy, and there's no challenge.
It was a good continuation of one of my faves. But the achievements are kinda generic - you're gonna get them anyways. And I think it was easier than the previous chapter - especially with buildings - you always had enough plots to build everything and if I remember correctly you had to do more strategy in the previous ones.
I had so much fun playing this game. It's challenging, I had to take several tries to try and beat the platinum time, but it was still fresh and fun. I'm definitely going back to this game in a few months.
In Delicious: Emily's Home Sweet Home, you need to help the O'Malleys repair their dream house. Can you make it a real home? Hurry up, or it might be condemned!
I've recently decided to replay some of the Delicious series. Since the real fun starts with the wedding one, I think this one is the one the Delicious series had found it's footing. The chapters are fun, the upgraded meals a fun challenge and both prizes and snapshots are a great scavenger.
I've generally enjoyed the game, but the level of challenge was subpar compared to other games (prior to these I've played VIking Brothers and Viking Sisters). Visuals are also better in the other ones, but it was a fun experience, especially with additional challenges.
I'm very particular about the graphics of these games and I really liked this one. I also liked that the resources added, so you could be doing less frequent trips for more of them, but I know that for some it's not that fun.
