I liked the game. Good story line, a decent level of challenge, very good graphics. But what I have a bit of a problem with is the movement of the cursor When I select anything, the delay action time on the screen is 2-3 seconds. Configuring the settings using the slider bars was painful. And I have a new computer. I just found it a bit annoying.
Great graphics. Challenging hidden object puzzles (except they jiggled around every few seconds; it was not a good effect which offered nothing to the game play). That being said, I found the story line over-pretentious that made sense in some places, but went right off the rails in others. I would recommend this game but not a buy for me.

This game belongs back in the 1990's. The graphics are incredibly blurry, dark and small. One of the first searches was a baseball glove. I thought the glove looked more like an avocado, and a briefcase looked more like an old cd disk from Windows 7. Not a buy for me.

Same as the previous version. A couple of new features and options, but it didn't compel me to upgrade from the game I bought like 2 - 3 years ago. To the developers, please change SOMETHING. I played the game for 10 minutes and was bored because - same old same old.
Jewel Match Twilight is one of the best games I have, and play often, but that was Jewel Match 1. And while this release offers different things, it's just a souped up version of the original. The main game has changed little - yes, there are different sounds, but the match 3 icons remain ghosts, pumpkins, cats, and witches hats - every season of the year is not Hallowe'en. There is the "gem" option, but yet little variation in game play from the ghosts, pumpkins, cats etc. "Chapters" in this "updated" version. There have been insufficient changes to make me buy the next level of the same old, same old.
The story is weak, the hidden object puzzles are run-of-the-mill, so the game isn't anything special. Big Fish has had a run of bad games lately that are so alike, you can't tell one from the other.
And to the develops of the Bonfire series, give players the option of muting bad voice overs by amateur actors. It just makes the games kind of annoying - I don't pay for bad acting at the show, I won't pay for it in a game where I pay almost as much.
The story line was mundane, you can't mute the annoying voice overs, which there are a lot of, can't completely mute the music, there is no "Custom" setting available. There wasn't anything I liked about the game, nor did my 12-year-old daughter so the review ends here.
I mirror some of the comments made by sunnyglow. However I found the game to be all pretty graphics with no continuity. The developers were so hyped on special effects and tech graphic wizardry that they failed to find any connection with the real world. Didn't like the game at all. I played for 20 minutes then deleted to find better things to do. Like feed my dog.

Not a bad game, not particularly good either. Most annoying, is that I mute music in all games - it's annoying and monotonous. Except when I fire up THIS game, I have to mute the music every time. And on at least three occasions, I have had to start the game from the beginning because it didn't save my progress. Really bad programming.
