Cut out all the drivel and this game has potential. But only a glimmer of potential.
As it is, it's boring, lousy hints, l-o-n-g lame conversations too numerous and redundant to the story, and an awkward interface when trying to manipulate inventory items
The developers saved me from wasting a game credit. Hands down, a no buy
I don't recommend this game.

Everything about this game is dark - and dreary. You can't really see enough of the scene to tempt an investigation, which means no enthusiasm to continue the play. Hidden objects are correctly named - hidden.
It could have been better if the light level were pumped up a couple or hundred candle-watts. Put a black veil on your monitor - that's about as interesting as it gets.
I don't recommend this game.

HATED IT!
- confusing, clunky,
- the curser doesn't change when you hover over an inventory item and it's way too big
- disable dialogue, but the talk goes on
- camera pivots around the room, badly
- you have to drag inventory items precisely to the proper x, y coordinates to activate
- sub-standard to most other games on the market
Can you tell that I don't recommend the game?

This game is suffering the same ailments as others in the series: slow, boring, with bad acting.
This is one game that should definitely have a 'skip dialogue' option. It seemed that all I was ever doing was hitting the skip button between scenes.
Maybe next time.
I don't recommend this game.

Although I found the graphics to be somewhat better than average. When I started, I thought the game had great promise, but I was wrong. I uninstalled it within the first 15 min. of the trial
Why? I was frustrated with the "magnifying" glass. There were so many places it hovered over, After exploring each one, I was disappointed to find that most of what was beneath served no purpose, just "white noise" that meant nothing to the overall game play. (Or maybe they are there just to increase game play time.)
Something else I found was that, in many cases, after I clicked on those magnifying glasses that were relevant, there was a lag of 4-5 seconds before it opened. First time it happened, I kept clicking, thinking it wasn't hard enough, and that just made it worse. (And it isn't my PC that's causing it.)
I was expecting so much more, but the little glitches took away from what appeared to be a high calibre game.
With so many "4++ reviews, it would be unfair to the developers if I didn't recommend this game to others who have a little more patience - so:
I recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

This really could have been an enjoyable game, except for the fact that the graphics are blurry, and the scenes are very dark. In fact, most of the game is so dark that even the inventory items are all but invisible. Difficult to make anything out.
Sorry - but brighten it up a bit, and you may have something worth playing - I stopped the trial after about 15 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

Every game gives you a "hint" - the question is how well it performs.
The hint button in this game doesn't give you much info, and has to recharge EVERY time you use it, even when it tells you "to look somewhere else". It wouldn't be so bad if it had a map. but nooooo. Doesn't anybody realize that most people play the games for the challenge, and walking back and forth from one location to another adds little value.
Could it be that some developers omit both features because it makes for a longer game?
I didn't finish the demo.

I read the other reviews and thought "no game can be THAT bad".
Well, guess what? It can.
A couple of minutes into it was enough. Possibly the worst graphics I've come across. I got as far as the scene asking for 15 cards. I managed to find 14, but for the life of me I couldn't find that last card. Even AFTER I used the "hint" button. . . .
I don't recommend this game.

Not a great. Mini-games are so-so. What really made me decide NOT to purchase this game was the voice and comments of the little robot. Inane comments and bad acting, and the only way to avoid listening to it is to mute all sound.
Also too much walking back and forth. Go here, pick up one item, go forward, go left, go right, go down, use the inventory piece then start it all over again. I often wonder if the developers to this because it takes up time that could be spent on playing the game.
Oh well, back to the drawing board......
I don't recommend this game.
