This game, as with the other two, has the same features, i.e., going to different locations and using objects you've found in other areas. Again, you have the criminal who keeps appearing and if you shoot him, you get a hint. You can collect fleur de lis (50, I believe), to get extras. I found the game to be fun. However, I believe this game can either be fun or aggravating, depending on a person's personality. Objects are somewhat hard to find, so the hints are helpful.
Characters are cartoon-like, with conversation bubbles. They are well-drawn.
When I first saw this was a Christmas game, I nearly didn't even try the demo, as I am not fond of this time of year, for various reasons. Anyway, tried it and found it to be extremely fun to play! I might even buy it. The game's makers should become sales people, to get someone like me to enjoy this type of game.
I recommend this game!

Journey: The Heart of Gaia
After being kidnapped, Liz must free the Underworld from the tyranny of Scartaris Umbra.
You do have to use your head in this game. It has a fairy tale type of setting (graphics, etc.). The hint button charges pretty quickly. As you progress, you even get some helpers to do some tasks you can't do by yourself. No HOS, easy to move around. I, personally, don't like fairy tale games, but for those who do, I believe this would be fun.

Have to agree somewhat with Nilosh. This game from the series seems to me to be lacking something. Not quite sure what, but, after playing most of the demo, decided if I buy it, will wait for standard version.
It's almost as if the game's makers have run out of ideas!

A "real" adventure game! No sparkles, no HOS and fun. I definitely intend to buy this one. And, from the w/t, looks like a decent length game (always important to me).
Didn't play more than half the demo because I want to slowly enjoy playing when I buy it.

At first (playing the demo) I was sort of bored. Once I got into it, however, found it to be somewhat fun. What I didn't like, was at the end of the demo (it appeared to be in French and I can't read or write French). Don't get that at all.
As I said, It is different and somewhat entertaining.

Played about 10 mins. of demo. Wasn't able to leave the palace. Only had two areas to look for things in. Couldn't find the last animal anywhere. There are no hints unless you're in the HOS. Makes you want to scream.

Found this to be different than the usual HOG. Hints recharge fast. It seems you can even skip the ho's when you want. Never tried, though. Don't know why anyone would say objects are "blurry." They do explain some are until you find what goes where.

Know it's probably just me, but I found this game to be annoying. Walking around in circles, getting only limited hints. Don't like the hero's face nodding when you do something right.
Wish I would have liked it, but...
I don't recommend this game.

I was finding the demo interesting. However, then I came to a puzzle which I didn't want to solve with such a short time to do it. Found I couldn't even back out of it and do something else!
Maybe there was a way, but I couldn't see it.
Not a very good demo, making it hard to see if the game was fun or not!
