I write very little reviews but needed to do this one. OMG this is THE best game of the series. I bought this one without playing the trial run. The reason is that I own all the others and they are addictive.
When I opened this game I noticed there were a lot of ways of playing which took me by surprise even though this is a Collectors Edition. The levels are Casual, Challenge and the extra one is Extreme. This one has a timer and you collect all items. Each level can be played as a Female or Male Park Ranger.
I went through the whole game once in Casual mode and did not receive my shield for playing under 5 hours. So this is a long game which I love.
Play it and see for yourself. There were a lot of extra places to visit.
Before I play a game I read the comments and seek out a forum if there is one. When I saw the complaints in the forum about finding something, and thought it wasn't worth it. WAS I SO WRONG ABOUT THE GAME. I downloaded the trial and began to play. I then bought it with my free game card.
This is one game that I love. I got lost in the game but after working around the parts I had to upgrade then it became easy.
I am an avid player of Match 3 and this game is addictive in my books.
If any of you love these Expeditions then you will love this one. There were many difficult challenges but if you love a challenge then this is the game for you. I had help with a walkthrough I found online but I will love playing this one again and again.
I recommend this game!

I would like to thank the creators and John Wizard on one the BEST RPG games I have ever played. It was like some of the games I have on systems. The story was fantabulous and the graphics were some of the greatest. I loved how you can chose your three main warriors within the five characters that are in the party. This was one game I had to use a guide because other than that I would have been lost.
Overall, I would recommend this game to all the RPG players out there. I will definitely be playing the other three games now to see what happens next.

I don't review as often as I should but this one needed it. This game is TOTALLY off the wall. I didn't get 30 minutes into the trial that I purchased this right away. The graphics are phenomenal. There was no voice overs but it didn't matter to me. I read what they say anyway. The HO are crisp and clear. To see things from the past belonging in the future is what grabbed me. I'm a BIG sucker for history. If you want a game that intrigues you, this is the one to buy.
I would like to just say "WOW". This was the greatest HOG I have ever played. There were no Achievements which was unusual. As for the Strategy Guide, it definitely was different. When you got to a task, the strategy guide told you how to come about getting the item you needed and where to go to get it. as for the map, it told you where the 'objectives' were but you couldn't click on that place and go there. There was one thing, the map is not very big so there was not a lot of waling around needed.
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?

This is one of the best SE games I have had the pleasure to play. I loved that there was a 'jump' map so that you knew where to go if you needed to do something. The graphics were great and the puzzles were wonderful. This game gave you a lot of different puzzles, not just all HOG. I must say that I did a lot of thinking on what to do next so I did use the hint button a few times. It was good not to have to find achievements through this game. Made the game seem more real instead of looking for things. Mad Head Games did a wonderful job on this. Nice going BFG for another great game.

This was THE best game I have ever played. It had so much going on that it was hard to think sometime of the things I needed to collect to get to the end of the game. The graphics were great. The music wasn't so bad. The storyline was good. There were achievements to be won. Loved the map: it was a godsend because I tend to get lost in these games. It was so great, this game, that \I played it again the next day. Nice going!!!
This was the best of "House of a 1000 Doors" \I have ever played. There was little music so it didn't throw you off. The map was the greatest. You didn't have to walk around trying to remember where you had to go. You could just click to that room. If you got totally lost there was a strategy guide to help. This game was totally worth the price. I now have all three games. Definitely will play again. Thanks BFG!!!
