Why aren't there more games like this one? I like this older style of game play!
The puzzles were fun, some were challenging. The graphics were good, but some parts could have been better.
I haven't played the other NB games yet, hopefully they are as fun as this one! It is a bit on the short side, but the enjoyment of playing makes up for it.
It's a really fun adventure from beginning to end!
I enjoyed this game. The graphics and animations were good. The story was interesting and I was left wanting to see more of the little doll. Hopefully there will be another game with the doll in it!
The game play was standard, but enjoyable, if not a bit on the easy side. This is a perfect game for someone new to hidden object adventure games - easy, but challenging in some places.
There were a lot of hidden object scenes, but they weren't difficult and were easily completed, keeping the game play going.
I recommend this game for everyone. It has an interesting story and game play. I also enjoyed the music.
This game is different from other games. The word association was such a nice change of pace from the regular "find the object". Some of the associations were slightly obscure, but that just made the game more challenging.
I really enjoyed the little video movies that told the unfolding story of Jess. The voice acting was nicely done, too. The only drawback would be the graphics. They are a bit outdated nowadays and the screen size is rather small (or least it was on my monitor).
I highly recommend this game! I know some may not like the style, so demo it first to see.
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
The story was detailed and nicely planned out. The travel map helped out A LOT with the back and forth running. There were a lot of mini-movies throughout the game that were enjoyable to watch and helped the story come alive.
The bonus mission answered some more questions, but is not necessary to wrap up the regular game.
We need more sci-fi games like this one! This is a definite must-have game!!
This game was soooo much fun to play. The puzzles were very unique and challenging. The graphics were delightful and the voice acting was nicely done. The "make the connection between objects" scenes were a nice change from the regular hidden object searches.
It did seem a little bit on the short side. Maybe I just didn't want it to end!
I HIGHLY recommend this game. It is one of the best I've ever played!
I'm torn about this game...awful or genius?? I haven't played a game quite like this one before. The gameplay takes a while to get used to. It can be confusing at first. But even then I found myself using the hint button a LOT, more than any other game I've ever played.
The main problem I have with this game is the graphics. They were mostly fuzzy and blurry making it hard to discern objects. But strangely, the graphics of the character's faces were crystal clear.
Most of the puzzles were unique and I enjoyed playing them - one involves plasma ribbons. But some of the puzzles that involved walking around and finding objects were either super easy or frustratingly hard. I guess that might be from multiple people working on the game.
The story was good, very different, involving tattoos, suicide, and murder. The writing was obviously done by someone with English as a second language. It wasn't bad though, and didn't detract from the gameplay. If the developers can clean up the rough edges they could make a really great game in the future!
Overall, I'm giving this game 3 stars. I recommend it if you want to play something very different from most of the games on here. It can be frustrating at times, but has some very nice original touches as well.
The graphics were nice and well drawn. The voice acting was mostly good. Some of the puzzles did repeat but varied a bit each time. I enjoyed them regardless.
The text at the top of my screen was partially cut off, making it difficult to read. I don't know if others had this issue as well.
There was a fair amount of backtracking and lack of a hint button, except in hidden object scenes. I liked how at least one object could be picked up, used, then picked up again and used a couple of other times.
We need more Western themed games. I thoroughly enjoyed this one!
Nice, involved story. Good music throughout game. There were quite a few interesting puzzles that I have never seen before.
The paper-looking animated stories were very well done. A lot of effort was put into this game.
There were some very minor glitches, like having to click on something more than once to get the description text to stay on the screen long enough to read it, or clicking on an exact small place to use an object, but this didn't deter from my enjoyment of the game. One thing I didn't particularly like was that the screen would quickly zoom in sometimes when you moved between locations.
The Hidden Object scenes were very well done, and highly interactive.
This seemed to be a long game, and I enjoyed every minute of it!
I enjoyed playing this game. It did have a lot of hidden object scenes, but they were done in three ways - list of words, shapes, and finding pieces to make an object.
I found the story and direction of game play to be interesting and held my attention. The puzzles were mostly easy, but a few were inventive.
It is a short game, but it was definitely worth playing.
