When I first tried this game I didn't think it would keep me occupied for long as it seemed a little simple... how wrong can you be! I've been playing for a few days now and I am hooked. The aim is to cook dishes and complete goals to earn coins and 'bucks' in order to expand and decorate your restaurant. Simple concept but some of the goals can be difficult to complete which gives the game an element of challenge. Give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised.
Before I tried this game I didn't think I would probably buy it as I've tried these resource gathering TM games before and am not a big fan. This one however is pleasant to play. I played on timed mode and the level of challenge is just right..not so difficult that it is impossible to achieve and not so easy it becomes boring. The hour trial flew buy and I bought the game. Give it a whirl.
This is a great slow paced strategy game which is similar in terms of time spent playing to Virtual Families. You can either set things off in terms of tasks and check in every now and again or you can restore your energy by collecting butterflies and gathering crops. I like the collections aspect too which you can trade in for extra resources. I like farming games anyway but this one is different in that you have to manage your energy points. You only have to spend 'real' money if you are impatient to complete tasks. A great game so far.
If you are expecting a fast paced exciting game then this is not for you. I like it because you can set your people up and go off and leave them all day whilst you get on with your own real life! It is a nice slow, relaxing game with enough variety to make it slightly different with each family ( I have 4!)... and it's not a HO game which in itself is a bonus.
I loved Trade Mania and this is a great sequel. I liked the option to build factories, supermarkets or hotels as this adds another element of strategy to the game. A refreshing change to all the hidden object games.
I'm a big fan of TM games so I thought I'd give this one a try. Everything about this game was 'middle of the road'. The most annoying thing about it was the random conversations between characters, popping up when you're in the middle of doing something. I'm not a fan.
I don't usually choose to play this kind of game and so was pleasantly surprised when I found it so much fun. I was so engrossed I didn't realise how much time had flown by! I think I may have learnt a little about art too.
Utterly charming and engaging from the off. The games starts slowly and gets more frantic as the challenges build up. You choose where to place your workers to have the greatest impact. I've played it twice and it was different both times. If you like Virtual Villagers, Artists Colony etc you will love this. There are just not enough games of this type on Big Fish...at the risk of sounding like Oliver Twist...Please could we have some more?
As soon as I started this game I was hooked. My teenage daughter enjoyed it too. I have to confess I had to get help in the forums as some of the puzzles were beyond me, but this is the sort of game you have to complete. I'm a big fan of this series... more like this please Big Fish.
