I really enjoyed this game for all of the positive reasons already listed in other reviews. Loved the puzzles and adventure. Unique! I felt it was somewhat challenging and kept my interest. Not too many HOG lists and I able was click through them quickly (not a HOG fan). Hope the developers continue with this series.
I recommend this game!

Thank the developer and BFG for giving us something a little different from the usual run of the mill HOG. I was definitely ready for some different adventure game choices. I was initially interested in this game, because there are no HOG lists, and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be a very fun, fast paced, point and click adventure game. I had a hard time tearing myself away from it. If you are ready for something a little different, you might try this game. I found it to be fairly easy, but still fun and challenging. Loved it!

I love this game, hopefully the developer will produce others like this one. I thought it was just fun, fun, fun. I played in the difficult mode and found it challenging, but not too hard or frustrating. No HOG lists in site - yeah, and lots of puzzles! More games like this please.
I recommend this game!

Inbetween Land is my kind of game! I loved the puzzles, some new, some old, but almost always challenging (but not too hard). I especially liked that once you found the items in a scene you moved on to the next, not a lot of going back and forth in this game. I prefer the adventure/puzzle games rather than the HOGs, but there were not an overwhelming number of HOG piles in this game and they were interactive, fragments which made it more fun for me. This game was not as dark themed as most lately and it kept my interest until the very end. More games like this please!
I recommend this game!

I love this game! Thanks BFG for offering this adventure game and something a little different. I played in the advance mode (middle selection) and found the game to be fairly easy and enjoyable. I didn’t have to consult a walkthrough once. I’ve played a lot of large file adventure games, my preferred genre, and I detest having to rely on a walkthrough just to get through a game.
The game ran really well on my older computer, scene changes were very quick and the customized curser did not drag. I thought the graphics were absolutely beautiful and not grainy. The music was nice and pertinent to the game. The hint system was very good, from clicking on an item in the journal to the actual hit button. The mini-games varied from very easy to somewhat challenging (I only skipped one). I usually take my time with games and I played this one for about 4 hours.
I thought the story was interesting and different from what has been offered lately. There may not be a lot of action in the game, but I found it to be an interesting murder mystery set in beautiful surroundings. This might be a good game for someone new to the genre, but it may also appeal to the more experience adventure player as well. It certainly kept my interest!
I recommend this game!

This is my second Carol Reed mystery and I’m hooked! When I play these games I leave my world behind and become immersed in the Swedish culture and environment. I love exploring the lush green countryside, gardens, houses, businesses, apartments and abandoned warehouses to name a few. The real life photos are part of what makes these games so appealing. I thought the Black Circle storyline was intriguing and I almost played nonstop until I solved the mystery. This game has a good hint system, just refer to the journal and click on a goal for details. The puzzles are simple and straight forward, no need for a skip button. You still collect inventory items to use, but not a whole lot of them, because I think the game focuses more on exploring the surroundings and solving the mystery. The conversations between people are pertinent and kept to a minimum. If you feel like something a little different and unique, you might try this game. I hope BFG brings in the latest CR release soon, I’ll buy it in an instant!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game! It’s a little different than most HOGs. It’s more like an adventure game with lots of inventory items to find and tasks to complete. It only had a limited amount of HOG piles, which I appreciate. The puzzles were not too hard and I didn’t need to skip any. The graphics, music and sound effects were all excellent. The story was well written and read like a good horror novel (it’s based on a Lovecraft story) and even though it may not be that unique, I thought it was very well done. To me the game was challenging which kept my interest to the end. I’ve played the previous Haunted Hotel games and think this is the best one yet! I hope the developers continue with the series.
I recommend this game!

I loved everthing about this game, especially the ability to toggle between HOG junk piles, which I easily get bored with, or Mahjong, which I mostly selected. I hope the developers continue with this unique option. I also plan on trying their previous game, Time Mysteries, which also has a similar option. I think Nightmares is one of the better games offered this year and I really enjoyed playing it.
I recommend this game!

I tried this game a couple of years ago and couldn’t quite figure it out (not to mention the annoying barking dogs). But, somehow it stuck in the back of mind and I thought I’d try it again when it came up on the daily deal and I’m glad I did! I ended up really enjoying the game, not wanting it to end.
Green Moon is more of a true adventure game (yeah!), not a HOG. Once I figured out the mechanics of the game and consulted a walkthrough a few times, I really got into the swing of things and never found it to be boring. There are dozens of scenes to visit that include different environments, the moon or time travel. Each scene only requires finding an object or two, or to perform a task, then you move on to another scene. I thought this kept the game interesting not having to return to the same scene multiple times. The exception is the home base and the moon. The premise of the game is to collect items for various magic potions to use in new scenes.
There are no hint or skip buttons, but I found the mini games to be fairly easy, not spending too much time on them. I even enjoyed the one arcade game (the ships) as a little extra excitement. The available walkthrough was very helpful, but if they ever do a sequel a hint system would be nice. Regardless, I would still buy the sequel in a heartbeat.
I recommend this game to folks that are maybe a little tired of the dark HOGs and would enjoy a “lighter” adventure (it’s not like some of the larger file adventure games with lots of dialog and walking around). Oh yeah, the barking dogs only occur at the house and turning down the volume was an easy fix. I wish it was that easy in real life!
I recommend this game!

I loved the Tiny Bang Story! I loved the little characters and community. I felt the developers put a lot of imagination into the game. It was a light and joyful experience (a nice break from the dark and dreary games).
You need to find a number of similar items (sometimes small) in various scenes to initiate a puzzle game. I liked the idea that you had to do a little work for your hints and there are no skip buttons for the mini games. The puzzles are somewhat common since this game is a little dated. However, the jigsaw puzzle you build throughout the game has a different twist to it. There really is no story, talking or reading in this game, the characters just kind of grunt or sigh and you simply move on to different scenes when you complete a level. There are also no HOG junk piles/lists (which is a plus for me).
The game can be a little challenging at times, but that was part of the fun for me. I did have to check a walkthrough (found with an internet search) a couple of times, but I finished it not wanting it to end. Overall I felt this game was a lot of fun!
I recommend this game!
