This game had the right idea, but it was very short. It is your job to rescue four people who are victims of their own fears/nightmares, and are being hospitalized. A doctor created a machine which allows you to take their soul orb into his machine, and explore and fix the problems creating the fears. They seem to be coming from some kind of entity/ curse. but that wasn't really made clear, at least not to me. You get that idea at the very end. I think it's worth getting during a half price sale, but I'd have felt shorted if I'd paid full price

The queen has summoned her investigator, and good friend to investigate an old mansion, converted to a boarding house, with a questionable reputation. Things get strange when he rents a room for a few days. When he doesn't return, or make contact with the queen, she summons Mystery case files to investigate. This game has a lot to do. It's quite long, so you won't be disappointed with that. Very bizarre to say the least. Even after playing it, I was still left with questions. You have your choice of the usual level of play including custom, which I always like. I didn't care much for the mini games, and skipped most of them. Most were tedious and tried my patience. The bonus game was a continuation of the main game. I always love the case file games, but this one has to be one of the strangest yet. Give it a try. It might just be your cup of tea.

I thought this game was good. It was actually a bit hard for those who like a challenge. The story line was kinda far fetched, but who am I to say it couldn't happen. I didn't care much for most of the puzzles. They were kind of all the same. I did like the seek and find scenes. I thought they were cleaver. Not going to reiterate the scenario,as you can read that for yourselves. I see a lot of reviewers doing that, and I wonder, why?I pretty much just list the pros and cons. I like that they have a custom setting in this game. Not the best game I've played, but still worth trying.

First, let me say that the artwork, colors, etc.,were very good. This review is based on the trial only. The snow was so well done, along with the blowing wind, etc.,it actually made me feel cold. I thought the storyline was a bit too corny for me. Your sister, whom everyone thought drowned while ice skating, is actually alive in another dimension or world, and suddenly, many years later, on Christmas Eve,you are contacted via a gift left on your doorstep, which contains a note and a medallion. The note says that if you want to learn the truth about your sister, you need to leave right away, and use the medallion to open the portal at the same skating pond. I don't think I did even one seek and find during the trial,so I can't tell you what those are like. Everyone has their own taste in games. I suggest you try it first. This just might be one of those games better purchased as an SE,or on sale.
This game played like a beautiful romantic novel. Dana goes to a castle in Romania for a book signing event. Shortly after arriving there, she is plagued by a spirit who believes she is his long lost love. Beautiful scenery and music throughout. This is a fairly lengthy game that won't disappoint. It has romance, mystery, and intrigue. The game has the ability to transport you to various places you need to be just by clicking on the hint button. I did use the strategy guide a few times, but for the most part, the hint button sufficed. The bonus chapter was very good, but not a continuation of the same story. I will tell you that it has to do with the keeper of the castle. I enjoyed playing this game, as well as all of the other Dana Knightstone games.

I love all of the "Mystery Tracker's games. This one was somewhat different. There is a very brief communication with someone at headquarters to explain what the only piece of equipment is for,and how it's used. After that, you are on your own. The game starts with you, a detective being contacted to investigate a town that long ago, was ravaged by a plague. The town is full of spirits and mayhem. The hint system works very well, in fact so well, I didn't even use the strategy guide. The reason for the four star rating is the length of the game. I played the main game in about 21/2 hours, and I take my time. I liked the hidden object games, as they were different from the norm that we usually see. I would recommend that you buy this when there is a special deal, such as a two for one, which is how I bought it, or wait for the se.I just don't think it's worth the full price given the length of it.
I played the demo with high hopes, because all the reviews I read up to that point were brimming with praise. I thought it was beautifully done in terms of the art, colors, music, etc. It just didn't grab me enough to want to buy it. I really don't care for fairy anything at my age. I would love to see more games that center around a good homicide mystery, or a great adventure game. I found myself impatiently wanting the demo to end because I was getting bored. If you like fairies, and silliness then you will probably love this game.
A peaceful day at the park becomes a journey into the surreal when you become the latest victim of a troubled artist's deal with Death!

If anyone has insomnia, this game is the cure. I was so bored during the trial that I was actually dozing off! I really don't know how this game will hold anyone's interest. That's about all I can say. A very forgettable game.
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
This game is without a doubt, one of the best top notch games I have played thus far. It has everything you could ask for and more. The artwork, clarity, music, puzzles, everything is A+. I was absolutely in heaven listening to the jazz throughout the game. The story line is so intruging. The hos were different then anything I have ever seen, and totally fun to do. You can tell that this game was made with much love and pride right down to the smallest detail. This is one of those games that I would play again, and I seldom do that. Give this one a try fishies. I can bet that you will totally agree with me.
I love stories about vampires, and based on the demo and reviews, I expected to really love this game but I didn't. I thought it was very generic, and the artwork was rough and grainy. The music was on a loop which quickly got old fast even though it was pleasant. I thought the father of Enron could have been involved a lot more. I also didn't care for most of the mini games. The hos were nothing special. I did like the the switch factor as I was able to switch characters, essentially playing both parts. There is a jump map, and a journal. The hint system filled quickly, and was somewhat helpful. The ending was abrupt and seemed unfinished. Maybe the "Collector's Edition is better I don't know. I really can't recommend this game myself, but everyone is different. I thought, (based on the hour demo), that it would be much better.
