I've played and enjoyed all the games in this series. This one not so much. Story line is decent. Characters do well enough on their own that Alice isn't even missed. BUT, there are changes that I don't appreciate at all. Except for the first 2 levels, I can't find the puzzle pieces and the guide doesn't include a hint. Worse than that is trying to understand and work with how the smoke effects the same itself. I play without the timer. As the game advances and the smoke thickens, game play includes getting material to eliminate the smoke. That's okay. What is new and and frustrating is, if materials aren't gathered quickly enough, they are no longer available. I keep having to check the guide to figure out how to keep materials available until the smoke clears, It's still confusing. I've had this kind of timing problem with other TM games and it really irks me. If a player has chosen the untimed mode, don't change it! I don't mind having to figure out what to do next, but I can't stand the pressure of being timed. That aspect ruins the game for me.

I would have liked for the story to continue on. Not happy that JJ ended up in jail. The bad guys seem to have won. I usually don't do well with TMs that require service customers vs fixing roads, but I found that I could keep up with what had to be done and make 3 stars on each level. I liked the emotions of the characters and how they interacted with each other. I'm not into mythology so didn't follow that whole part of the story but got the gist of what was happening. This was just a fun game.

I generally like this kind of 'coloring' game, but just before I finished the demo I realized it was taxing my eyes and brain. Seems strange to me that there are over 10 sample puzzles to get thru before actually starting the game. No points earned for any of those pictures. I prefer to see the whole picture at once while I'm working it. Another reviewer said the pictures get bigger with smaller cells which I know can be annoying. The puzzle does provide a 'copy' of the picture a the bottom right, which is a little helpful. This is one of those games that is a fine line between challenging and forget it. Sometimes I do need something like this, so I might purchase it as a free game.

This is the most frustrating match 3 game I've played in a while. I'm getting close to the end of this intriguing the story but the basic match 3 part of the game is making me yell nasty things at it. Pro: each level can be replayed as often as you want without penalty Cons: (1) bonus pieces (bombs and such) are expensive and it takes a while to earn enough points; (2) as the game progresses, the player is faced with boards where the pieces revolve/move around between moves, pieces that keep freezing, and shorter available moves. Just maddening that toughness of each level keeps me from enjoying the story.

I've played others similar to this and enjoy the solitaire a lot. The majong's ok. This hidden object is a problem. I'm a whole picture person so I can't stand it when my vision is limited to one small area. It's hard on my eyes. If that section shows all the objects, I can't see the shadowed objects to be located so I just start clicking away, and that works. I started each suspect session up to that point and will slowly work my way thru them. They definitely spoil an otherwise totally fun, relaxing game.

I admit that I am an unashamed avid user of hints for griddler games. I've been working thru another one with similar intro and set up. Did the demo for this one. Even though the hint system is very different, I figured it out and felt challenged enough to enjoy the game and purchase it. Big mistake. I didn't realize I needed to earn 'coins' to get additional hints, and I can't figure out how to do that. Graphics and music are fine. Was interested in the game for the challenge, not necessarily for the storyline.

Bought this without doing the demo. Love this series with its silly characters and situations. I'm most comfortable playing the relaxed mode. Even so, several enjoyable challenges. Figuring out how to find objects to combine with other items, and which ones went with which formula. Also, towards the end, had to restart a few levels because I used up available resources too fast. Have to keep remembering to establish all production buildings before building them up. 50 levels was too short for me. Look forward to the next one.
I only enjoy TMs that offer an 'Easy' challenge. That mode doesn't apply to the levels that include bonfires. The sixth of the Bonus levels is one huge bonfire and I'm stuck there cause I'm unable to keep it lit. The strategy guide limited to graphs with no narration. Makes little sense to me. My enjoyment of Team 7 led me to purchase this game. Should have stayed the the standard edition.

Good: could choose to only play solitaire; majong's okay but harder on my eyes. Good: enjoyed the final clue grid; much easier than others I've play. Not so good- annoying sound with every card pick. Not so good - couldn't figure out how to scroll down to see and move between all the clues. Otherwise cute game!
Cute story. Characters and dialog silly enough to make me laugh. This game got a lesser rating due to need play on window rather than full-sized screen because cursor couldn't reach some of the hidden objects. Also, objects so tiny almost disappeared so needed to use hint button a lot.
