The reason for all the "awful' and the 2 stars is because the game needed a magnifier option since the objects were so very small and for us old people that is a problem. Also the game is to particular where you place the cursor to select an object. If you don't get it in just the right place you can't choose the object. I had to click on the honey dipper at least 10 times before I could find just the right spot. The object being so small contributes to that problem. I typically like these games and buy them with out the trial. Glad I tried the trial this time, I will not be spending money on this game unless they fix the "pickiness" of it and and add a way to actually see the all the objects.
I really like these games. I am a fan of the good ole fashioned hidden object games as opposed to the hidden object adventures games. I guess that goes with my old age. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish it has a magnify option as my old eyes don't work as well as they used to even with glasses.
I did not buy this game!!! I agree with the other negative reviews. This could have been a decent game but for the fact that they penalize for making a wrong click when the objects are so small you can barely see them so a lot of times you are just guessing. This is especially bad for those of us with old eyes. A magnification option would be a big improvement on this game. The other thing is for us old people it can be hard to catch the butterflies (though I did like that feature) so penalizing for a wrong click is frustrating. My hands shake so it can be very hard to catch the butterfly on the first try. Shame, this could have been a good game for me
I found this game relaxing. I read a lot of negative reviews for the Collectors editions because it was not challenging. Some of us have enough challenges in life without adding more via a game. This is exactly why I love this game. I could enjoy the game play while listening to a TV show and just relax. I am on a search for more games like this. The challenging games are find for those who like them at the same time these games I also fine for those of us who enjoy them
These games are some of my very favorite and I play them over and over, but I am not in the game for the story or the building of a town or even points. So getting a message telling me I am greedy because I choose to ignore that part of the game is annoying. You don't lose anything as a game developer if I ignore that part of the game, after all I already bought it. So maybe on the next game you leave the name calling out.
To the person who said "we dont want games lime this..we want new games like haunted hotel", speak for yourself. There is no "we" in this statement. Some of us love these games and don't care for games like "Haunted Hotel" I personally like the plain old fashioned Hidden Object Games, without the "story". If I want a story I will read a book. Without the "adventure". I don't want to guess what I have to do next. I play games to relax my mind not test it. I wish there were more old fashioned Hidden Object Games. I enjoyed this game as I always enjoy these games. If I had any complaint at all if that some objects that were hidden inside other object were not in red so you looked and looked because you didn't know you need to look inside of something to find it.
Great game just like the first 5. I always look forward to these games. As a matter of fact I love all the match 3 games from this developer.
I gave the "storyline" 5 stars but in all honestly I never pay attention to the storylines in games. I just assume for people who like storylines it was probably good :-)
I like this game and would have given it 5 stars but they are a couple of little things I wish were there. 1. I wish there was a magnifier, the object as very small for these old eyes. 2. You can't skip the mini games and there are a couple I don't care for. Also the post cards are annoying. I bought the game because I could live without the little things I wish were there. This is my favorite kind of Hidden Object games. Strictly hidden objects without the "adventure" part. These relax my mind and do not use a lot of brain power. Wish there were not so few and far between
This game is OK and I probably would have bought it except for the nasty little troll or whatever it was and it's unkind messages. I am a believer in kindness at all times I am not going to spend money of a games that give unkind messages at the end of every level. I realize that is probably just me, I don't care I try to promote kindness at all times and this games does not do that!!!
I enjoyed this game until it got to where every other "room" was a scrambled word game. I do not enjoy scrambled word puzzles so I didn't finish this game. If I wanted scrambled word puzzles I would buy a book or find a game that was word puzzles. This was supposed to be hidden objects, not guess the word.
