Playing these games exercises the brain and we all need to do that so Big Fish can support our health with more of these brain training games. This one is a bit simple...so I hope there will be more that up the challenge, but thank you for this one and can we see more please?
I recommend this game!

In Real Estate it is location....in this game it is strategy, logic, thinking moves ahead and planning. If you like to figure things out, you will like this game. It is visually clear and the fact that the blobs get bored when you are thinking what to do...well you can be amused or irritated, but that is not the point. What do you do next to achieve the goal? That is the point. There is a story...spilled liquid to be retrieved...totally insignificant. There are moves to be made and the wrong ones make you fail and the right ones get you through. One reviewer let us know that one can not progress unless all the puzzles are solved perfectly...that burns me...but the same reviewer says there are hints to help...a salve on that burn. I know myself though, I would not want to use the hint. I probably will buy the game and hate myself for it when I get stuck. O well.
I recommend this game!

This is a game that needs better instructions. I got some of the workings and was able to get along in the trial, but I needed more than 60 minutes to get the hang of it. One of the reviewers recommended another game and I am going to try that one. If it is clear and fun I will buy it as I love logic games and strategies. I may try this again on a friend's computer and see if it is a buy, but at this point the lack of good instructions has me disinclined to purchase.

I just played the demo and then I checked and there is a CE so despite this being a sale today, I am going to get this in the CE game. So this is a review of the SE game the playing of which has inspired me to get the CE.
This is an excellent game and I want all the bells and whistles that a CE game has to go with it.
What was excellent? well the story was actually engaging...I like the idea of going into the movie through the screen. Before we get to go there, we have a lot of adventures some of which we have seen before, lots of keys to find and missing pieces to assemble, monkeys need their banana, that sort of thing that keeps the story going. I was especially impressed by the King Kong pinball machine game and the move the statues but do not let them get eaten by the 'gators. The difficulty of the puzzles was a challenge and welcome for my sense of challenge and fun. They were hard but not hard based on chance which I hate, but hard based on figuring out how to align things and that is what I like.
There were things to do all along the way. The clock that had to get the trumpets and then have the hands move was not hard, but it was interesting as it had to be collected and then figured out.
The HO scenes could be a bit more interactive, but I did appreciate the use of inventory items to complete them.
I do not know if one gets to go in and out of the movie...that would be an interesting change. However, all in all, I was impressed by the game enough to want it in the CE but I would strongly recommend it for those who are on a budget in the $2.99 sale.
I recommend this game!

actually my title ought to have been beautiful and boring. I was o so happy with how pretty it was but as I played...the boring crept in. Finding stuff to fit into medallions and locks over and over and the HO scenes finding stuff to make a thing that was the way it went and rigorously did not change. I liked the morphing objects and how they moved one in the game, so I would have to buy the CE and I don't think it is worth the CE price AND I have a lot more worthy CEs to buy, so this one will go to the bottom of my list and probably stay there and never get bought as I keep getting the games that are so much more superior because the HO scenes are more interactive, the little puppet scene story is so much more interesting...why does the kid lie down and go to sleep...he is probably bored also from finding teddy bears and feathers presented in circles...that must be it.
I don't recommend this game.

Other reviewers have said it...the game is simple and not really up to recent quality of a SE game. Yet I liked playing it for the simple straightforwardness of it.
One reviewer reported that the HO lists disappeared. If I buy this and find that to be true, I will complain to BF as that is unacceptable...I HATE aimless clicking like what one has to do when the picture is too dark to see the items. This is not a problem here. One good thing about this is that it is well lit and all things are clear. That is a relief
One frustrating thing for me is that the item one clicks on has a sweet spot. If you click on the correct item, but not on the sweet spot, it does not register as the correct answer. This is a problem when a gear one is looking for has no teeth drawn, so one is not sure it is a gear. When it did not register as correct and I clicked on it, then the hint said that it was the correct one....that is frustrating, especially when the hint button does not recharge quickly so one is reluctant to use it.
there is no map and asking for directions uses up the hint...ugh especially since that hint is so slow...that is a real drawback to enjoying this game.
Another real plus for me is that when one gets a clue, one does not have to go to the diary to retrieve it and have it present to engage the numbers on the lock. I like being allowed to remember those numbers and use them...as I play these games as a mental challenge.
The game is a special today and at $2.99 with two punches on Monday...I might just buy it...not sure though...this is a marginal recommendation as I have a lot of games I have not yet played.
I normally register as intermediate skill, but with this one, I feel an expert...maybe I am graduating up...
I recommend this game!

This is an excellent game and if you do not absolutely have to have morphing objects why pay for a CE? There is easy medium and hard and my favorite CUSTOM which means I can dial to be able to skip the puzzles or get hints quickly. The hint button is very good so the guide is not necessary ...another reason this less expensive version will not disappoint or have you tearing out your hair.
My word this has it all. Beauty, challenge, dragons, Chinese art, and lots of new and inventive games and HO scenes super interactive and loaded with innovation. I only played the demo and really did not get into the game deeply ..but as we play demos together we had a lot of fun ... finding ribbons other such find all these things...and then the circles that have to be aligned and connecting dots with barriers and bumpers to run the lines around. Every minute you find yourself going...now what am I supposed to do with that...and a Question mark gives info and off you go to fulfill another challenge. You are on a quest to defeat evil, but the only thing wrong with the game is that there is no heart of desolation the title is not accurate...you are overcoming all that negativity and nothing is ugly everything is easy to see and well lit and the colors are delightful, not garish...o yea I am looking forward to getting this game. Hope you like it too and let devs know this is the kind of game we just delight in...Show less
I recommend this game!

The title says it all really. Why were we bored? Puzzles too easy, HO scenes not clever at all. We thought we were going to really like it with the chronometer busting up the time bubbles and finding all the things that ought to be moving to release the bubble. NO, that got too obvious. The most boring part was when the scientist needed tools to do his work and we had to find them scattered in his room. I think we had five sets of the things to find. They were hidden in the room in no logical way and the room was a bit dark with the things being hard to see. Gave me a headache. There was not much innovative in anything we had to do as we progressed. I gave it good visual because most of it was good. I enjoyed finding the butterflies which were easy to find but somehow I still liked doing it maybe because I am a fan of them. We were glad to get to the end of the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

now how many ways can I say boring? well all i have to do is point out that there is no real change from one game to the next. It is the same thing over and over in different shapes. and the lights against black are hard on the eyes. It did put me to sleep so maybe that will be a benefit to some gamer...

A no buy for me because the Xs and Os look too much alike and on the whole the game is too hard on the eyes. Thanks to the reviewers who recommended better games of this genre as I really like them and want to play...hope the ones they recommend will make my eyes happy and just in general be more fun.
