I am a big fan of Clutter games. The first one is easily one of my favourite games ever. The idea of 'decluttering' one's life from unnecessary items to relax, and have fun while you do it, is, in my opinion, clever, smart and also very funny. So, I would rate any of those games a full 5 stars. I gave this one four just to attract attention to the fact that there is nothing really new in this new installment. Despite the numerous popups that will tell you that this one is the best ever, it is just excruciatingly identical to number one, two, and the others. To the point that the same objects are once again used in the piles of scattered items that you have to pair to get rid of them. I could chant a list of objects just from memory.... white plate with daisies, black tie, yellow shell with brown dots..... so, if you have never played it, I highly recommend that you try this, or any other one in the serie. I have no credits available, so I might as well reinstall one I already bought and pass this one! This is not the kind of game that you will remember schemes from playing it a week ago, because it is just a heap of random objects scattered around. I see no logic in making more of exactly the same!
I will not give more details about the game, because the other reviewer gave an excellent resume of all you have to know. On my part, I will add that I really like the games in this serie, penguins, snails and all. The cute look appeals to me, the gameplay is satisfying, with different combinations of tiles giving you different boosters and so on.... only one small problem, limited moves make them impossible to play! As already said, there is no other option to play other than limited moves. The schemes are so full of obstacles, cages, chains and whatnot that just a very few moves are available, and often enough, in spaces that will do nothing to progress. During trial time I purposefully tried time and again to beat he first nine levels without buying additional moves, and the game was constantly spontaneously reshuffling because no moves were available! Of course, as already said, buying those extra moves in large enough quantities to make the game enjoyable is impossible. I find it a shame, because I really like the games, but I play to have fun, and I will not accept to be stuck at level number 9! I have read so many times 'I hate limited moves' that it is a real shame that devs cannot give us a try to a relaxed mode game.... I suspect it would be a winner!
I accept full responsability for not liking this game more. Case is, I hate playing timed or limited moves games, so, when the game offered me to play 'relaxed' just at the start, I immediately pressed 'yes'. If you do that, you will play an extremely dull match 3. Everything works fine, graphic is ok, maybe too much chatter among hobbits..... ehm.... 'halflings' and other assorted magical inhabitants of this cute little world, but the gameplay is really nothing special. Screens are very big, and take forever to complete. The only boosters I saw are bombs that explode a few squares or blocked squares . Every two or three levels, you will be told that you have gathered enough 'elements' to buy some implementation for your village, but again, your only option will be to buy the only house or building available. This will however put in play more boosters and more elements to be gathered. I even wanted to give a try to the not relaxed option, but I couldn't find a way to change that, other than restart the game with a new profile. But it changed very little, as you are doing exactly the same things, only with a time bar at the side of the screen. Well, for me, there are far better games in the genre out there, but I have no problems or big mistakes to report either, and maybe the game becomes more interesting after the first levels I was able to play during trial time......
After a few failed (imo) attempts at a playable solitaire in the last weeks, here goes at last one lovely solitaire game. All the major features are there, good graphics, (underwater cute/bit cheesy creatures and mermaids),readable cards (both faces and backs are clear and don't make you squint to read them, also come in a variety to choose from). The game works smoothly, not too easy so that you invariably beat any level, not so hard that it is impossible to advance. All the usual and useful boosters are there for you to buy with the money you earn as you go, wild cards, undo, get rid of one card and so on. They show up in the form of beautiful and colorful pieces of coral... it takes time and patience to gather enough money, but, hey, that's what a solitaire is about! A buy, if you like solitaires!

This is the kind of solitaire I like best: one up one down. Graphics are good, music is bearable, cards are perfectly readable (even if there is not any option to change backs or faces), and there are a number of features that could have made it fun and new. Problem is, although boosters are available, it is nearly impossible to get them. At the end of each level, you are awarded stars, one to three, to be exact. These stars are what you need to buy boosters that could help you win more levels, gain more stars, buy more boosters... there you go! Fun! This is not the case, because the game will award you stars only if you complete the level, removing all the cards, and even then, it will decide how many to give to you without any understandable logic, because, let's be honest, this is a solitaire, so there is only so much that you can do to beat the level, (especially if you are not granted boosters) except to draw cards and hope for the best...Also, some of the features that are innovative to this game, given the difficulty in beating levels, make really little sense. What's the point in having timed cards that just end the level if you don't remove them immediately, if I cannot draw the card needed, and I have no other mean of getting rid of them? It is just almost there to be one of the best, but this loop just makes it too difficult and frustrating. So bad!

Ok.... I understand this is a solitaire, so it's not for you to devise strategies and smart solutions, still, I will always love to relax with a good game of solitaire. But even then, I will prefer the 'one up/one down' type. This one is a match 2 type of solitaire, so you only can take cards away from the screen when 2 are the same value. Chances that you draw just one of the few cards that will help you progress are so slim that all you do is turn card after card after card, and it is almost impossible to beat even the first levels. I agree with what someone else wrote here.... cards seem to be clustered in same value clumps... you draw an ace, you don't need it, but the next three or four or ten will also be aces... go figure! Next, there is the problem I would like to keep my eyesight! Cards are so tiny against a very brightly coloured background that it is really a pain even to watch at them. I have no eyesight problems, and I can play other solitaire games for hours without blinking, but this, even if I tried all the faces and all the backs that are available, really fatigued my eyes to the point that I quitted far earlier than 1 hour of trial time. I usually say 'see for yourself if you like it' in this case, I will be bold, and say, 'don't even bother to try'.
Of course, how difficult you like a game to be to find it entertaining is just a matter of taste. This match 3 is extremely colorful, summer themed, graphically nice with bright colours and everiyhing, but it is not as easy as I thought at first. First, you have to complete the level in a given number of moves. I usually do not like this feature very much, especially when I want to play relaxed mode, but here, it does make sense. The usual scope of a level is the same as many others match 3, you have to clean all of the squares. Here, some are covered in sand, or in grass, or need multiple matches over or around them to get clean, but the real trick here are power ups. Not only you have to unlock them by buying implementations for the holyday resort you are putting up, but then you have to charge them during play in order to use them. And that can be a headache. Many times, obtaining the charge for the power ups, a part from being the only way to complete the level, is also the most difficult thing to do on the level itself. As already seen in other games, you have to make way for little objects to drop at the bottom of the screen to collect them and charge the powerups, but that can be extremely tricky, given the limited number of moves. All in all, I found it challenging, but not in a frustrating way. I am now discovering that you probably have to keep charges for powerups from one level to the next, because not all you need is always contained in the level itself. As you progress, you buy shops and pavillons to further better your resort. By clicking on those, you enter minigames of solitaire. Up to now, it seems that it is only one type of minigame. It could have been nice to have had different minigames in each shop. I am enjoying the game, try for yourself if the added difficulties are for you!
At first it struck me as really different from any other game I played up to now, but the good feeling of 'discovery' soon gave way to real frustration. This game is insanely difficult. which could even be a good thing, because I often discard games because they are too easy and obvious. In this case, the difficulty arises from many issues. First, there are no instructions of any kind, which is hilarious in a way, because the game asks you at the start what language you want to use.... even if, apparently, it then uses none. There are no instructions, no hints, nothing at all. From time to time, the arrow you are using as a cursor will light up, sometimes it means you can go that way, sometimes it means you can interact with the area, (like placing a random object from your inventory, not helped by its shape or nothing... sometime you just find that an object you have no idea as what it is, will click into place in a hole, or a tree or other random spot...) sometimes it obviously means something else I wasn't able to figure out during trial time. Second reason for difficulty is that the minigames you encounter along the way, you can instantly figure what you need to do, but they are painfully slow, as it usually is a matter of moving an enormous number of pieces that only move or slide or rotate in one way, making it a real pain to assemble a large picture, because you have to do it a click at a time repeated a million times..... The ultimate scope of the game is to collect leaves that have been scattered from trees by the wind... suffices to say in one hour of free trial I just found two, because they were just laying in front of me on the floor, I solved four minigames, often obtaining nothing, or some kind of code I didn't see how to use, and that I had to copy on a paper, because I couldn't find a log that would keep them in the game to use later..... and I ended up very confused. I found it is graphically beautiful, even if very simple. Music is awful and I just turned it off after the first two minutes. With a minimum instruction, help or direction it could be a great game. As it is? I do not know......
When I read what it was all about I was really thrilled. Use objects found in HO scenes to change this guy's life for the better. Correct past mistakes or simply obtain better outcomes for the various facts of his life. Reeeeeally new and interesting! Sadly, gameplay turned out to be as far from interesting as far goes. You get to explore time and time again the outside of the family home, in order to collect the desired items in each level. Then you get very easy HO scenes, even if in those you are also required to perform minor less usual tasks, like finding the letters that change a word meaning and similar. All in all, a bunch of excellent ideas, but I could not even bear until the end of demo time. I must also say that scenes took forever to load on my pc, which was even more frustrating when you wait and wait and end up getting the same scene over again. Of course, ya all know! Just give it a try, it is a different kind of game, visuals are good, deliciously retro, loud music can be turned off.... so you may just enjoy it a lot more than I did.

I agree with the above comments. Nice graphics, running smoothly etc. The only problem for me is that there are no bonus cards, jolly cards, wild cards or the like so far. You have a Store, where you can buy objects that will supposedly help you progress, but, during trial time, only three were available, and even if I bought all three (rather useless items, that I only bought to see if anything better would unlock), nothing more showed up, so I do not know if and when the game will get any better as you play. So far, you can do absolutely nothing but deal cards and deal and deal until the game itself chooses to deal you a hand that will solve itself. I know it's a solitary game, you're not supposed to do much, but until someone buys it and can confirm that it gets a lot more interactive along the way, I will go back to more well designed games, like Regency Solitaire. As I said, this comment only applies to trial time. I would be delighted to discover that it gets better in a few more levels!
