I used to love these Jewel Match games, but the last few have been so horribly complicated I could never figure out how to play them. I lasted all of three minutes with this one. I still really enjoy the Jewel Match Solitaire games, but these games are way beyond my comfort level now.
Maybe it's my eyes, but the tiles on the brown background are really distracting and very hard to focus on. I also miss the castles and the jewels. Plus, the extra side levels are distracting as well - the whole thing is just too "busy".
Exactly the same as every other game by this developer

I've seen other games by this developer, and they all play the same. Match-3 with limited time and moves, you need to play each level 3 times to get all the coins, minigames to get more resources but no real plot or development to the game itself. BORING, BORING, BORING! I loved the other 3 Imperial Island games, but this is a HUGE disappointment. I won't be buying this game.

Like many, got stuck on level 6 but finally (after multiple tries) got through it. Then on level 11 (Create Plant) was completely unable to finish that level in the moves allotted. This game is either super-buggy or super-impossible. If I could give fewer than one star, I would. Don't waste your money!
I enjoy well made match-3 games. This wasn't one of them. I got bored in the middle of the first level. There was nothing about it that made me want to continue.

I'm a huge Match-3 fan, but I do like to feel like I'm making progress, especially in the beginning. I wasn't even able to get to the fourth level without having to replay levels once, twice - even more! I play games to exercise my brain and to relax, this game just isn't for me.
