This game is more than just an ordinary match 3. You have challenges to complete like freeing caged baby birds and chasing away cats. You do it by matching 3 or more but you have to move the bird to a place where it makes a match. If you move it without a match then more birds fill up some spaces making it more difficult to get around since you can only move on free spaces. There are multiple goals but you can pass the level without achieving each goal. You can go back and try again and again if you want the gold egg or just move on.
The instructions could be better but I like the strategy element and I love how colourful it is.

This is a great game to idle away a couple of hours if you like precision shooters. You play golf on different alien worlds with strange mechanical devices and obstacles. In one hole you have to hit 3 spots to turn on a fan and then hit the ball just right to get the air draft to blow you over to the hole. There are surprises here and there too. In one hole I had only one shot left from a terrible position at the back of the hole but a platform rose up and my ball slid into the hole.

A lot of people seemed to have problems finding the instructions. You have to press the "iF1" button. There is a big panel beside each game that shows the instructions or clues for the game but it happens that the first game reveals a picture and that appears in the panel instead of the instructions (not ideal).
The first game is played by connecting numbers of the same value but you have to do it in the same number of spaces as the number you are matching - so if you want to match two 3s you need to fill in 3 spaces between the two 3s. You can see the picture you are revealing in the panel.
I recommend this game!

Toy Defense
Test your courage and skills as a military leader at the height of World War I Toy Defense!
I didn't notice a tutorial so I figured it out as I went along. You buy different soldier/weapon configurations and position them to defeat your enemy. You get dollars as you destroy them. In between each set you can upgrade your soldiers and weapons. You have to decide where to position what and you're not sure where the enemy will come from so it's not as easy as it sounds.
I found it a little frustrating trying to understand what to do and there isn't much in the way of story but the game is quite addictive if you like strategy type games. This one is easy enough for the whole family to play.
I recommend this game!

Tower Bloxx Deluxe
City architect Ava Dandelion has asked for your assistance in re-building tall towers in her famous town.
This is something different and it can be a bit addictive. Anyone should be able to play this game. No language skills or reading required. You have to pile blocks of different sizes and shapes higher and higher to create sky scrapers. You get points if you do it perfectly and they tilt crazily when you don't and eventually topple over. There are also rules about which colour towers can be placed next to which so there is some strategy involved too.

This game appears to be mostly shooting at fruit. It's kind of fun if you want some mindless entertainment. The level of difficulty increases and you can shoot bubbles of ammunition, grenades and coins to help you along the way. You can buy things to help you in your quest to kill more fruit as you go along. No story line to speak of, just a lot of pointless shooting.
I don't recommend this game.

Bus Driver
Transport passengers following a planned route according to a timetable and learn the basics of professional driving!
If you're tired of the same old game concepts you should give this a try. I'm not a great driver and all the screaming passengers will attest to that in this game. I couldn't see how to use the mouse so I had to use the keyboard to drive the bus. The "options" tells you what keys perform what function (be sure to read that first). It's like driving a real bus. There are many different routes, types of weather and vehicles. You get points for getting there on time and not breaking any laws on the way but I usually ran over a few things. No harm.
I love tycoon games and I love cooking so this one is perfect but be ready to invest time in learning how to play. You also need to have an interest in running a restaurant business and keeping customers satisfied. The graphics are so so but there is enough variety and challenge that I have played this many times over several years. You get to furnish and decorate restaurants, pick recipes, adjust the prices, hire and fire workers and work to improve their skills. There are also cooking challenges of a sort although I found these a bit annoying.

I love puzzles of all kinds. This was more fun that I expected. There are lots of beautiful pictures to choose from, some challenging and some easy. One thing that confused me at first was that you can't rotate the pieces but you don't have to. They are in the correct position to begin with. I liked the little character pieces too - pieces shaped like dogs or t -shirts etc.
