I enjoyed the first two games in the "House of 1000 Doors" series and this was another good one. The artwork was beautiful. I like the different environments within the story showing different time periods. The storyline was engaging. I also liked the weather. It was fun to go from a location where it was raining to another location that was sunny. The only thing I didn't like was that there was something weird about Sammy's mouth. It looked like he was chewing gum all the time he was talking. I hope there will be another game in this series.
There are three games in the Grim Tales series and I enjoyed this one the most. The story line is engaging and the artwork is gorgeous. The hidden objects were well drawn and made sense in the context of the game. The music is nice and the sound effects were perfect to give atmosphere to each scene. The puzzles were challenging but not too difficult. This game has everything you could ask for.
As the other reviewers have said, sparkles appear over the hidden objects. It takes all the fun out of the game. I got halfway through the free trial but didn't want to continue. Apart from that, it seems to be a game more suitable for kids than adults.
