I love MCF but was a bit disappointed with this game. I guess when you put it up against the average game on Big Fish it is good but compared to the other MCF games it pales in comparison. I found the acting terrible except the ghost patrol people who I thought were pretty good. I wished they had been a bigger part in the game. I loved the map set up. The scenes and game play were pretty good. Tho the graphics seemed not as good as the other MCF games. I found the story line a bit odd and the ending was very ...blah. I would get it again becuase over all compared to some of the other games on Big Fish it was okay but a let down from MCF's high bar.
I recommend this game!

This is not the worst game I have ever played.
I believe if this game could be remade with better graphics and sound it could be a winner. However as it is...not so much.
The graphics make it very difficult to find certain objects.Let alone get immersed into the game enviroment.
No voice over which is a big minus in my book. Especially with so much dialog.
I liked the interface and I liked the start of the story.
Unfortunately I had to walk away from the game becuase the graphics were so off putting.

HOGs were good not over crowded but there were a few items I would have never found without the hint button.
Puzzles were pretty good but admittedly most were not a matter of thinking through but trial and error.
The art and sound was 9 out of ten. The mix of real life with the game was done fairly well.Although I just don't understand why the chose to animate the ghost instead of using a real actor. It kinda ruined the flow of the cinema for me.*loved the Imp and the little girl.
The voice acting was perfect.
The story line was pretty good better than most.
The ending was a bit odd and abrupt.
Over all a decent length of a game.
You will need to use the hint button to find your way around tho. I found myself on more than one occasion 'well, where do I go now?' Thank goodness it doesn't have to recharge for that. But loved being able to get 'lost' in the environment. Lots of little touches that made the game a fuller experience.

I loved the first Shiver game so I decided to give this one a try. I found that it lived up to the first game in terms of graphics and sound. I did not get into the storyline too much in the demo but seemed relatively interesting. I think this a pretty average game with the HOG and Mini Games. I found the mini games a bit easy. I am a little disappointed after the first Shiver but compared to most games it is pretty good. I would recommend this game and I plan to purchase it.
I was disappointed that there was no voice overs. However the sound effect (clicking/object finds) were nice and not annoying or ear piercing like some games.
I found the HOG and Mini games not challenging at all. It was a very standard game with the same 'find your love' plot and the 'Ice Witch Queen' has been done a lot as well.
This is a decent time killer but not much for a challenge.
