I love this series, have all the games and replay them often so I was expecting a fairly easy ride with this new episode. Boy, How wrong could I be! This is a seriously challenging game but great fun and never so challenging that it defeats you. There is always a way through though you will probably find you are getting far fewer three star timings than on previous episodes. You really need to keep your wits about you right from the start, looking out for foxes, squirrels, vampires and knights. Squirrels sometimes give you food, other times garlic, while foxes steal your stocks. As for vampires, they are really mean! The crops (fertility) spell sometimes speeds up production as before but at other times doubles it to 40. Some nasties cut production by half in their surrounding radius. This really is the best New Yankee game yet, I can't wait to see what they will come up with next.
