Wow, from a group that usually does a good job, this was awful. The first part seemed to live up to their previous games, so you wouldn't know from the demo. But the ending - the story topped in mid-stride and moved to the last on minute of the end. Obviously someone ran out of ideas or they lost the story line or just gave up. Terrible. I'm not likely to buy from this group again.
I've been playing Patchworks from their first games. There was always the understanding (at least at first) that at least one of the pieces on the free section would match with one on the board. Not this game. By the fifth section, they made it impossible to play without clues. This isn't fun. This is torture. And it doesn't have to be. They have rigged the game. I hate it and won't buy another.
I don't recommend this game.

Fantastic graphics, challenging enough for me, and a not too implausible story line. This one I really enjoyed. I hope you do too.
I've liked Patchworks before. This time the pictures seem dull, repetitive, and without any flair. Then I got the 5th level and found it was copied directly from the last 8th floor game, Mosaics Galore. I dislike paying for the same game twice. Boo.
Interesting take on an old story. This game had several glitches that prevented me from completely enjoying it. But I was SO grateful that they let me "keep" the tools I found so I didn't have to go looking for the same thing over and over again!
I usually enjoy Elephant games. This one kept up the tradition of excellent graphics. But the story line was inconsistent, it was much easier than usual and it was too short. It was the first time I've played this type of game where the "boss fight" didn't exist. And I know this is a fantasy game but the anachronisms were outrageous.
I don't recommend this game.

I found this game so annoying, I think others should know. Graphics were good, until you tried to click on something and could find the sweet spot. Storyline, OK, I guess, except the changes were abrupt and non-nonsensical and the ending made no sense. Hated the mini-puzzles - poor instructions and not at all intuitive. I've never had to skip so many. And one really big little problem - too many objects that required clicking were at the bottom and too close to the "back" area. I was constantly backing out of scenes without meaning to. This game was sloppy, compared to other ERS games I've played.
