Having played Phantom of the Opera before (and disappointed with it), I wasn't expecting much. But, this one turns out to be much better.
The graphics is great as before, and the puzzles are less scattered throughout the game. I enjoyed this game mainly because the ending is not hanging as before. And, the bonus game is exactly as it say, a BONUS (you can live without it, unlike Phantom in the Opera).
This is good. Graphics are excellent. Puzzles are fairly difficult, takes me hours to solve it. Storyline is good too, keeps you on the edge. And the CE is totally worth it. The bonus game is equally difficult and I'm addicted to it.
Yes, the graphics is exceptional, and yes, the puzzles are tough. But its scattered throughout the opera that you could get so easily lost and don't know what to do next. It annoys me when I have to rely on hint button A LOT to know where to go next. And, since I bought the SD, it bothers me when the ending is kinda hanging, and that's why I gave it 3 stars. It could have been 4. But, if you are only play for the puzzles, then I say go for it.
This is my first time playing Nancy Drew series. Boy, the puzzles are KILLING me! I have to check the hints every five mins, and it annoying. Playing with hints is no fun, maybe I'll play it again later.
Graphics are good, but what annoys me are the voices. It takes forever to finish the conversation, and I can't just skip it.
I like the surprise in the credits. Maybe I can look forward to another Nancy Drew series.

This sequel is what to be expected from the series. Excellent storyline, good graphics, better puzzles. Having played the previous series, this one does not disappoint me. Looking forward to next sequel.

Among all games in the series, this is my favorite. The puzzles are addictive, fairly difficult. Graphics are okay, but enough to notice small details. I don't read the books, so I don't know if the game follows through the book. All in all, I recommend this game.

The game is very unique on its own. Basically, you play as Inspector Parker, who went to a mansion to investigate a murder. While you're searching for clues (its highlighted areas, shouldn't have any problem), and talking to suspects, you also have to search for any traps in every room.
I love it for its uniqueness. My only cons is that the murderer is always the same, so it can get boring after few plays. but the traps design is amazing. Too bad they don't have any sequel.

I thought the first one is great, but this is AMAZING! The sequel is what you expected, and more. The graphics is better, battle system stays the same, and the quests is more this time. I would recommend first time player to play Aveyond first, to understand the story better.
