The games were pretty fun for a time and would be well suited for a young player to practice shape matching. It might be a good learning tool.
I found it nearly impossible to lose on purpose. For example, in the mahjong like games, the tiles automatically switched when I ran out of moves including an entire row of the same shape.
If your goal is a light challenge, this is perfect. I did purchase it, and I'm keeping it around for those times my young niece wants to play.
