So glad I ignored the other negative reviews about it not being connected to the original story, but a lot of the series games, do completely change the story line, and still keep the main title. My kind of game, as there are loads of puzzles, so I found it very entertaining, with a lot of challenge, especially the super puzzles which there are a lot of. Good value, and will definitely replay this one. Only trouble I had with this game, is the sound kept going in and out, and had to restart the game a lot of times. This seems to happen to a lot of Elephant games, I have noticed. That is why the poor score for Visual/Sound Quality. Otherwise a great game.
What can I say. My title says it all. I just finished this game, and the whole game is nothing but finding bas reliefs to put into objects to open up a box or location with but another item to insert in the slot. Over and over, it was so tiresome! A couple of the puzzles were very confusing, with no proper instructions. I am a puzzle lover, and some of the reviews stated that there were tons of puzzles, but when all you have to do is click mindlessly, and the thing magically gets put together or solves itself without any thinking at all, I don't classify this as a puzzle, but a needless exercise and pain in the wrist. It was so boring I could hardly get through it, but I persisted, and couldn't wait to uninstall. The only developer that created the best puzzles in my opinion is Elephant games, and they aren't really coming out with any new winners lately, which is too bad. I sure wish we could get some good arcade and platform games, as I'm really getting tired of the HO games. They are all the same and not much fun.

Too bad they incorporated, panning into this game. I have complained about this before, and it's a big downer for me. To me, this doesn't add anything to the graphics or scenes of the game. Why not just have an arrow, and then go directly to that scene; instead of panning left or right, up or down. This is serious eye strain, especially if you are playing this game for awhile. That is the only bad part of the game for me, as the rest is great, but it might be the only reason, I don't purchase this game.
I am only half way through this game, but I just had to stop and write this review. I am at the part where you have to move the blocks over the gems on 4 puzzle locks, and wow, these are nice and challenging. This is what I keep talking about, in my other negative reviews. That puzzles need to be challenging, and make you think. In the puzzles of this game, you have to plan your moves ahead of time, and really think about how to solve them, not just some mindless clicking on things until it solves itself, or pushing buttons to the count of 5. This game has set the bar for what all other games should be like when it comes to mini-games and puzzles, as for me, this is the most important aspect of games. To me pretty graphics are just gravy, and all the new games that have come out lately are so pretty, with annoying gimmicks or amulets, they have stopped putting any effort into the mini games or puzzles. I guess other people like that sort of stuff in a game, but I want a challenging game that makes you think. The only reason I gave this a 4 on the visual, is because it doesn't open in wide screen, but it is an older game, and it won't keep me from playing it over and over again. Great job!! I can see now why this game got so many great reviews. This is by far my most favorite game right now.

This game is more of an adventure puzzle game, and so I really loved the demo, and will be buying this one for sure. There were lots of puzzles, and the HO scenes were interactive and not boring. Very different types of mini-games also. I wish BF would have different categories for the games now that they have deleted the search by beginning letter section of the search for PC games screen. This really annoys me, and other gamers who want straight HO games. This is not an HO game, and the games that are in the adventure category are all time management games, so this really needs to be looked at, and updated. But this game is for gamers who love adventure with lots of challenge and puzzles, so I loved it.
So sorry to be such a downer with all the rave reviews, but I almost fell asleep playing this. Click on this, go there, get that, go back, put it there, and so forth, you know the drill. A picture to put together that only had 3 large pieces. What!! Why bother, unless you are targeting 3 year olds now. I have been very disappointed with all the new games that have come out, as they are putting so much into the animation and cut scenes, that they forget this is a game, and not a movie. I want challenge, and something to stimulate my brain. If I wanted to watch a morning cartoon, on TV, I would, but I play games for the puzzles and mini games, which to me is fun. I will recommend for beginners only, but this one is not for me.
Nice game, but the mini-games, and puzzles were just too easy. I like to have to stop, and give puzzles a bit of thought, instead of just mindlessly going thru the motions of sliding things around or pushing on buttons. Maybe the dev's are targeting the young so they can get hooked on the games, as lately it seems all the news games have no challenge to them. Did anyone notice that the female's voice was Nancy Drew's voice? It just didn't fit for this type of game. Not enough challenge for me, but try the demo and see for yourself.
Good thing I used a free coupon on this. Basically just fill in the squares, and that's it, puzzle completed. Don't bother with this one, unless you are 5 years old. No challenge at all. The developer's could put a bit more effort into some kind of story, or why bother. Graphics are so meaningless when you finish a level, it's comical (in a bad way). They should feel stupid they actually put that part into the game. Come on, put some effort into this.

I can't say enough great things about this game, and this is my new favorite. This game has LOTS OF PUZZLES, and if that is your thing you will really enjoy this game too. I even enjoyed the HOS, as some of the items, morph and you have to wait until they turn into the item you need before clicking on it. Haven't seen that yet in any new games. The story is ok, and keeps you interested right until the end. The best thing about this game, is the puzzles, and mini games, and it shows the time you took to finish it, and at the end of the game you can replay all the puzzles, mini-game, and HOS, to improve you score. There are also collectable coins for you to buy hints, and stuff to help you out in the game. Some special collection games don't have that many extras. So much has been put into this game, and I'm really glad I found it, as I would have missed this one, but it was mentioned in another gamer's review about how good this game was, so I had to try it out, and am so glad I did. Nice and long, very good value.
I was looking forward to an exciting and challenging game, as there were so many extremely positive reviews, that I guess it was a real let down, once I started to play. Puzzles are what make a game fun to me, especially really challenging ones, where I have to write things down, or really think about how the pattern works. Just clicking on a couple of things, or counting to 5 to make something open, just makes me really mad, as I think it's very lazy on the developer's part to put something in just for a filler or time extender. That's what a lot of this game was, and sadly I became very bored quickly. I have to laugh at the forced creepiness that was put in the game. I actually found it funny, and reminded me of a scary movie spoof. Not sure if that was intended or did they really think one eyed dolls dropping from the ceiling is new and scary? Oh well, I see others really enjoyed this game, but sadly I didn't find it challenging enough.
