This has been the first TM game I have not liked. There are many bugs in this game.
It seemed alright at first. Typical drag and drop game. Music is borderline. All the character comments are the same. The graphics seemed to drag as well the actions.
My game wouldn't let you keep the music off. It also would not let me get passed the second level. It seemed allot of actions were repeated with no further progression.
If all the bugs were ironed out and I could progress further in the game, I would buy it.

I have played all the Dark Parable games and this has turned out to be the one of my favorites.
The storyline stayed strong. It was not over shadowed by the Frogs and the puzzles. It seemed to me to stay in the forefront of the game.
I like how there was a bit more of a challenge to Frog games. It took me a bit longer to find the objects this time around. They are bit more hidden unlike the games before. The items are not too small. I was able to see them playing on a laptop.
The graphics are sharp and clear. It was nice to play a game that you did not have to brighten your screen to see the graphics. The voice overs are played out well too. It has been a first that the actors do not grate on my nerves to where I turn the volume down.
The puzzles were good. Not to hard or easy. The hint button charges at a good rate. The Frogs and the puzzles are a nice balance.
I would give this game a try if you have never played a Dark Parable game before. Its great for newbies and a good refreshers course for people that play these games often.

If you have a Mac I would be wary. This is the first Elephant game that I have played that the graphics are messed up. I could have gone through with the game, but all the hints, graphics, and guide were gone.
This is easily one of my favorite top five games. The ambiance of this game was great.
The graphics are spot on for a town trapped in time and fog. The graphics are not B movie cheesy or too dark. It gave off the perfect haunted and desolate feeling.
It was a good balance of puzzles and hidden objects. The objects are easy to find. The puzzles are easy to medium hard.
The storyline was set at a good pace. It was neither rushed or to slow. The ending was good and left nothing undone. Only, the actor at the start of the games voice was overly done. That is why I cannot in good faith give it 10/10.
If you want a fun game that gives off a eerie vibe, get this one. You will not be let down.
For some reason I could not find it in myself to really like this game. Most of the Dark Parables games I can continually play. I had to force myself with this one.
I found the puzzles to be not as fun as the other games. I used the skip button just to get through the game faster. I also thought that trying to find all parts for the different objects to finish the tasks was tedious at best.
Yet, I did love the storyline and the graphics. I thought the graphics were very pretty for a game. The storyline was good and a bit sad at the same time. It would have been great if they could have done Tchaikovsky's ballet music with this.
If you like Sleeping Beauty and do not mind many puzzles, give this game a try.
I bought this game to add to my collection of Dark Parables games. I was not let down.
The graphics were well done. The puzzles were a nice challenge. But, there were too many things to collect over the course of the game. I really had to rely on the strategy guide for this game and that is rare for me. Sometimes it seemed like it took a long time for the hint button to recharge.
There is allot of walking around and revisiting the same rooms over again to find puzzle parts and to finish tasks. The tasks were a nice balance of medium to hard.
The sound quality was a none irritant. I did mute the music, but not the background sounds.
If you want a decent challenge and do not mind allot of going back and forth, give this game a go.
I have played all of the Dark Parable games and this is my second favorite.
It has very nice graphics. The puzzles are not as hard as the other games were. The balance between finding objects for the puzzles was a bit too much. It seemed as though there was to many of those.
Some of the acting of the Hood sisters was over done in the end. So I did mute allot of that. The ending was a bit of a disappointment. The rest of the story line was well done, if not a tine bit sad.
If you have played all the other games, I would give this one a go. It was a pleasure to play this game to stave off the cold days with.

Even though I read this story by Poe, it did not ruin the game for me. It followed the story by Poe pretty well.
All the walking back and forth got a bit tedious at times, but overall it is a recommendable game.
I thought the graphics were well done. The puzzles and hidden objects are easy to medium hard for expert players. The sound and the music was not annoying as so many other games are.
If you are a Poe and mystery fan, I would play this game on a rainy day. It would set the mood well.
I only hope that there are many other Poe stories done in the future. I really hope someday they base one on Masque of the Red Death.
I recommend this game!

I tried the demo. The graphics are alright, but the sound mix is not very good. If it is a club, then you should be able to change the music. I did not like the sound at all when you clicked to move customers or get them food and drinks.
The movement of the game was slow and jerky. I think that having more of a variety of customers would make it more fun to play, not just the Harry Potter look-a-likes filling the room.
The idea is good, it just needs some tweaking to make it more of an enjoyable game.

The storyline was good, the acting was awful. Every time the actors would come on I would cringe.
The art work was good. I thought the plants following the mouse cursor with their eyes was funny. It was not to dark or to light, it was right in the middle. Objects were not that hard to find at all.
I have mixed reviews on the whole game. I have never played a game before that was all puzzles. I liked it. But, I thought the level of challenge was easy. It would be great for someone just starting these games.
The game has good length to it. It should not offend to many people with the dark art theme to it.
If you are into something to do on a rainy day to pass the time away, give this game a try. If you are looking for a good challenge, pass this one.
