Another Mac user here who has the problem in Chapter 2. I get the gloves and use them on the roses, but don’t get the mirror shards. Then can no longer even click on the roses area. Cannot continue game. Please provide a fix. I meet all the Mac system requirements listed. Can’t really rate the game any higher nor recommend it until an update for this comes out.
This game is NOT a Collector's Edition. The “Bonus” is 20 levels of a puzzle.. Not at all what I was expecting, and had I know that would NOT have purchased the Collectors Edition. Not worth twice the price of Standard. Yes, it was a nice long game, but I expect that to be the norm (even though it hasn’t been for several years). It was fun and actually had a story, but graphics/play was a type from over decade ago. NOTE that MY Bonus Chapter is the 20 puzzle levels. I did not have the bonus chapter mentioned by user Novella2 as (quote) “collect a lot of items and escape before passing out and the chapter restarts from the beginning! The guide doesn't even give you the real game w/t and only seconds to finish before you pass out!” (unquote) I WOULD still recommend the game as long as the purchaser was made aware of these things BEFORE purchasing.
Great Game! Noticed a bit more challenge in a few puzzles. Thank you for finally removing the “scoring system” and stars (could you just get rid of the “choose the dialog” completely?) - but please return the rest of the game settings that are now missing. There are only minimal settings I can change in this game. There is no longer an option to uncheck “fullscreen” to get windowed mode (I use it to check my email while playing game) and there is no longer an option to check/uncheck “custom cursor” (I frequently use this to solve a years-long, multiple-OS periodic issue of the system cursor riding on top of custom cursor in ALL Do games that has never been solved). I also used the multiple choices on environment sound that are also missing. These issues are in the Mac version.

Highly disappointed in the Bonus Level. When I purchase a MCF game (and I own all of them) I expect the entire game to be MCF related, especially since I'm paying double the price of the Standard version. I found the main game enjoyable, but that Bonus Level is not MCF-like in any way.
I'm also on a Mac with same reported Mac problems - could download but also have to double-click everything. I agree with Rob_Blake about having to try to double-click/drag/activate some type of combo to get objects to interact or even move. Personally I had to skip the letter puzzle. None of the pieces would swap unless I used the hint button. In addition, so far (could only make it 15 minutes) I can find no custom cursor option or help for active areas and for a CE I don’t seem to be able to find the walkthrough guide. This game also seems to be very old fashioned. I own all of Boomzap's early Awakening series, so I’d love to give this game a try once the glitches are fixed. My final decision would still depend on being able to play the full hour demo without any issues at all. I cannot recommend the game at all in its current non-functioning condition.
Eliminated steps to solving all puzzles in the Walkthrough guide

Game pretty good except for the fact that devs skimped out in the Walkthrough guide. THE STEPS TO SOLVING PUZZLES HAS BEEN ELIMINATED. Only an image of the finished version. Sorry, not helpful. Please go back to providing the individual steps for solving puzzles for those of us who would prefer to either use a few steps as a hint, or would rather attempt to solve at least part of the puzzle without skipping it. This is part of what we’re paying for in the collector’s edition prices.

I also own all the SIA-LGT match 3 series, and love them. Like others here, I was at first confused by the function of the flares. What I finally discovered on my own, and also referenced from this game in the Steam community, is that the flares are created at RANDOM - NOT with every match. The strategy here would be to make as many matches as you can in the area directly below where those flares need to go. I think the help book should have been more clear on this. The help book seems to imply you will get a flare with every match - hence the confusion.
Reminiscent of very OLD iOS/iPad games. In addition, there is no story and I've seen some of these exact same characters and HO scenes in other Do games. Disappointed.
As usual, Cursed House 11 is an excellent game!- I own all 11 of the series. However, I notice that in 11 each level only collects 10 coins instead of the usual 20, shortening each level quite a bit.
